Jackie was amazing taking care of my Teddy. He took to her right away and she reassured me the whole week he was with her with status updates and pics. I highly recommend her!

Our initial meeting with Jackie went well, she was super sweet and understanding of our circumstances of needing care for our babies last minute for a funeral. Unfortunately this situation just wasn't a good fit, for us or for them. We had never met her husband Kevin through this whole process, and she mentioned that our dogs weren't taking to him, which made him upset. He needs to understand that my dogs had never met him nor been around him for he was a stranger, and for him to be upset and not understanding was a red flag to me. She had sent me updates stating they had made friends and all was OK, so this confused me when we picked up our babies. Bella being a rescue, she has a past and doesn't take to males right away (she was mistreated). No fault of Jackie, we do appreciate her trying. Both dogs were very distressed and smelled horrible upon picking them up and it took a bit to get back to their selves upon returning home. They didn't eat well per Jackie, but the food topper and treats I provided were unopened. Our dogs will travel with us from now on, this experience was enough to tell me Rover isn't the resource for us. I would like to note that everytime our dogs have been boarded at their vet (Poquoson Vet) they always said how sweet and well behaved they were.
