Hi my name is Jack Bishop, I'm a first year PhD student at Wayne State University studying Genetics and Genomic Sciences. I've offered my services on Rover on and off for the last 8 years and have thoroughly enjoyed every encounter and memory I've made with the furry creatures who come through my door. I've been privileged with the companionship of dogs all my life and as a result, I understand the crucial role they play in the lives of their owners. For that reason, I treat each and every animal placed under my care like my own pet. The opportunity to care for a wide variety of different dogs and dog breeds is the reason I love to work for Rover. Each and every one of their personalities is so distinct and unique. I live by myself in 2 bedroom apartment located near Brush Park in Detroit, MI (across the street from little caesars arena). On any given day, I'm in class for 1-3 hours. Otherwise, you can usually find me back home either studying or playing guitar.
