Pet care experience
I'm the girl that does, "aw look at that baby, muah muah" every time I cross by a dog. I adopted JoJo when I was 13, actually my mum surprised me. She brought me home during recess saying she wanted me to meet her friend who just flew in from the US. I came home not to a woman but a white fluffy soft toy sitting in our balcony and I was like "wait, no way!" He passed away last year; giving me the best 10 years of my life. I had no idea how much I needed him. Although, I was the closest to JoJo, we've had Mithi, Rolly and Polly, Silky, Jelly and Belly over the years. Yes, my family LOVES dogs! I thus come from years of protective experience wherein I truly understand that looking after an animal is one of the highest forms of responsibility. It's not just about feeding or walking them—it's about ensuring they feel safe, seen, and loved. I’m deeply passionate about spending time with pets, giving them my full attention, talking to them so they never feel alone, and responding to their unique needs with patience and care. As a devoted pet parent to a dog and two cats, I know firsthand the emotional and practical responsibilities that come with caring for our beloved companions. You can trust that I will treat your pet with the same love and attentiveness I give my own. I completely understand that entrusting someone with your pet is a big decision—one that takes time and trust. I want to reassure you that I’m here to move at your pace and make this experience as comfortable as possible for both you and your furry companion. When I take on a booking, I commit to being with your dog full-time. They will never be left alone unless there’s an unavoidable emergency, in which case I will keep you informed at all times. I’m happy to share regular updates—whether through calls, photos, or videos—so you always know how your pet is doing. I also encourage a meet-and-greet beforehand, so your pet has the chance to get to know me and you can see how they respond in my presence. I do this out of genuine love and care for animals. My goal is always to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for your dog or cat. If there’s anything specific you need, I’m more than happy to accommodate. You can rest assured that your pet will receive the highest level of care and attention.

Jaagriti is truly one of the kindest, most thoughtful pet caregivers I’ve ever met. I have four corgis, which can be a lot for anyone to handle, but she took care of them so beautifully for an entire week while I was away. From the very beginning, she was warm, patient, and extremely professional. She took the time to get to know each of their personalities and routines and followed every instruction I left with so much care and attention to detail. One thing that gave me so much peace of mind was being able to check in on my home cameras while I was away. Every time I looked, I saw her playing with them, talking to them gently, or just sitting on the floor giving them cuddles. She didn’t just meet their basic needs; she gave them real love and attention, which is exactly what they’re used to at home. Throughout the week, she also sent regular updates, photos, and sweet messages about how they were doing. When I got back, the corgis were calm, happy, and clearly bonded with her. I wouldn’t hesitate to have Jaagriti watch them again. She’s a total gem. :)
My sister Jaagriti has a special bond with dogs that is truly heartwarming. She is one of the reasons our 9 year old Labrador lived such a healthy and joyful life. She is one who understands dogs naturally, whether calming a pappy or playing with one; she can do it all! Jaagriti’s love for dogs shines through everything she does. As much as she adores dogs, they do the same too! She is what you can call the biggest dog lover in the world.
Jaagriti is an extreme animal lover. Her love and kindness towards animals is widely known. She has helped several pet owners in looking after and helped in treatment of pets. She does not tolerate atrocities on animals and has been witnessed to participate in dog rescue operations. With her own pets at home as well as with others, she has been seen to be extremely compassionate and loving.
I highly recommend Jaagriti as a dog sitter! She’s had a dog of her own and really understands the kinds of things only experienced dog owners pick up on. Like which walking routes are the safest and most fun, which treats work best for sensitive stomachs, and even which toys actually hold up against heavy chewers. She has a natural connection with dogs and will always stop to say hello to one, whether we’re out at the park or just walking down the street. We will literally be running late somewhere and she will be like “aww let’s go say hi”. The last dog I saw her with was a German shepherd at the beach, and she instantly matched his energy and made him feel right at ease. She’s caring, observant, and treats every dog like they’re her own. Your pup will be in great hands with her!

A typical day
A typical day for me starts with greeting the pets warmly and checking in on how they’re feeling—both physically and emotionally. I make sure they’ve eaten well, had water, and are comfortable in their space. When it comes to fun activities, I adjust based on their energy levels and personality. If the dog loves to run and play, we’ll head out for a nice walk, play fetch, or enjoy a game of tug-of-war. For more relaxed pets, I like to sit with them, offer cuddles, brush their coat, or simply talk to them. I find that even quiet time together helps build a strong bond. I love spending time outdoors when possible whether that’s in the park or a safe backyard and giving them plenty of attention and affection throughout the day. I make sure they stay mentally stimulated, physically active, and emotionally happy. My goal is to make them feel loved, safe, and well cared for until their family returns.

Availability
I am on the road to completing my MSc degree with only my dissertation pending. As you can tell, I have a LOT of free time. Spending it with your dog would definitely be the highlight of my day :)
