We are dog lovers! We live on 7.5 acres of secluded forested land (with a large fenced area) in Washington, CT. We welcome dogs of all breeds as long as they are friendly with other dogs and humans. I have an New York State EMT license and I am able to take care of special needs dogs (administer medications, etc). Our visiting fur friends join our family and we look forward to repeat visits. Your host is Ms. Toshi (mini Australian Shepherd) that loves other dogs. We are family home that has always had dogs. I am a stay at home mom for both my children and fur babies and my husband works from home. Your dogs simply get added to my daily activities of fun, care, feeding, and cuddling. There's always someone at home here :). We can pick up and drop off in New York City for an additional fee for stays longer than a week. We have a large fenced in area on our property that allows for lots of outside play time. We also live close to nature preserves and take our dog and more active dogs on morning daily hikes. For older or not so "country" friends, we provide a large array of dog toys. During the winter months, we also have a large basement that allows Toshi and his friends to play, rest and sleep. We are always home! I'm a stay at home mom and my husband works from home. Your dog(s) will be with us throughout the day. Your dogs are taken care of in the same way that we take care of our own. We always feed dogs separately, they play within our large fenced area supervised and we are fully insured.
