I have always admired animals of all kinds, and believe every animal deserves love and respect. I’ve owned Charlie (my dog) for 7 years and trained him myself. I have also owned several cats, a dozen chickens, and a hedgehog. I regularly dog sit for my sister (2 dogs, 45 and 55 lbs, respectively) and a neighbor (40 lbs). This includes giving them food and water, taking them on walks, administering medication, bathing them, and going to the dog park. I have also been a seasonal farmhand worker, which included caring for cattle, chickens, dogs, and cats. I am looking into animal care or wildlife conservation as a profession.
