Experienced animal caregiver to small, large and exotic animals with specialized training including but not limited to: Administering medications, feeding, wound care, vaccinations, coordinating treatments, welfare, quality belly rubs, training, geriatric care, caring for multiple animals at a time, and caring for animals with heightened needs (ie prosthetics, recumbent care, vision loss, abuse/neglect cases). I am currently enrolled in a veterinary technician program. I was previously a vet assistant and medical coordinator at an animal sanctuary. I am Fear Free certified and hold certifications in pasture and grazing management. I am apt to accommodate the many idiosyncrasies of animals and their people alike. I will give full attention to your loved one and adhere to their personalities. Leaving your animal companion at home for a few hours or for a long weekend need not be stressful or worrisome. Apart from your animal's safety, my ultimate goal is to provide a loving environment. Isabella is uniquely suited to care for your fur friends and home. She is hknest and trustworthy. She has years of experience as a Summit Steward with the Adirondack Mountain Club, teaching the public about the park's flora and fauna. She took care of Puerto Rican pets after Hurricane Maria while their families left the island temporarily. During the last four years, she has worked at the Farm Sanctuary, and is familiar and comfortable with a multitude of species. She is currently studying veterinary technology, and can administer medication, including injections.
Isabella has a unique relationship with animals of all kinds. Her mother was a docent at the Seneca Park Zoo, and Isabella grew up with frequent quality exposure to animals. She also grew up with a dog, a cat, a rat, a snake, and a variety of birds. She is committed to working for the well-being of commercial farm animals, and recently fostered a pot bellied pig for 10 months. Isabella is honest and trustworthy, and would respect clients property and instructions. She is athletic and strong. Isabella has extensive training in first aid, CPR, and emergency situations, and would be an ideal candidate to care for animals.

Including but not limited to: Walks (guided and scent), playing to whatever capacity they prefer ie ball, fetch, tug, chase, swim, laser pointer, forage...,quality time, socialize if applicable, enjoying client-approved treats and finding creative ways to offer them (puzzle and lick mats, by foraging), belly rubs and words of affirmation!
