Availability
We are both free most evenings with just our pets to look after. Ben works from home Mon-Fri and can work remotely from anywhere with Internet access. Our dog can be left for up to 6 hours so as long as he can pop home to let him out to the toilet etc. he can do most days.

We are both trained in dog first aid and CPR (and have certificates to show if requested) and always carry a dog first aid kit with us. We both love cuddling and fussing over pets as much as they want to, but also appreciate training routines, crate training etc. and are happy to enforce any rules you have (like no dogs on sofas).

A typical day
We both love to play with pets whether that’s with toys or doing training. With dog walks we like to go somewhere with lots of different terrain, sights and smells. We also value giving dogs time to stop and sniff as long as they want as this is highly stimulating and fun for them!

Pet care experience
We are a couple who have 5 pets together- 1 dog, 3 cats and 1 elderly guinea pig. Our dog is a senior rescue who has reactivity issues (scared of dogs) so he is muzzled and in high vis gear when outside. We do a lot of training both in and outside the house with him due to this but also have a love of training tricks etc. I (Isabel) have pet/house sat since I was a teenager for extra pocket money and have always loved it as I never had pets growing up but was always around them. Ben has had cats since he was born so has always been great with them.

We couldn’t recommend Isobel & Ben enough! They are very attentive to my cats and their different needs and personalities. As someone needing a regular sitter for the first time- I’m completely reassured and know my home and cats are safe with these guys! ☺️ With one nervous cat, Isobel and Ben made such an effort to make her comfortable and to meet her at her level. It took two visits from her completely hiding away to happily eating and having a fuss from them both ☺️ We always get a message and photos letting us know how my cats were, how much they ate, if anybody went to the toilet, and who got the most fuss! My cats are my family, and I trust them completely with Isobel & Ben ☺️
I was very happy with Isabel's first day dog sitting my dog. He is an older dog and a bit needy these days after a leg injury. He took to Isabel and Ben straight away when they came to meet him and I felt confident leaving him with Isabel. I have re-booked and hope to do more with them. Isabel kept me informed during the day, and when I returned my dog was snuggled up beside her! Good friends. Thank you Isabel.
The first time we met Isabel & Ben we could see what kind and caring people they were and knew instantly that Max would be in safe hands. Isabel absolutely went above and beyond giving us regular updates and pictures that gave us total reassurance that Max was okay. On our return the house was absolutely immaculate and Isabel had even washed her bed sheets and towels. I really can’t recommend them enough and wouldn’t hesitate about using them again. If I could give 10 stars I would.
Izzy and Ben regularly walked my dog, Goose, and he absolutely loved going out with them — he would get so excited every time they arrived. They were lovely, caring, and clearly very comfortable with dogs. I always felt confident that Goose was safe and well looked after in their care. I especially appreciated that they took photos during their walks and sent me updates. Izzy and Ben were amazing with Goose, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and attentive dog sitters.
