I’m happy when your pet is happy!
Pet care experience
For the past 20+ years, I have provided animal care for dogs (both large and small), cats, and small animals, both as a pet owner and as a shelter volunteer. Just like people, animals have their own unique traits and preferences no matter the species or breed. Although dog people are often coined as outgoing and lively, I prefer to adapt to what the pet currently needs. That could look like a quiet and calm environment, or a fun energetic play session. My philosophy is that all animals innately deserve the best care, and I would love to contribute to that care as best I can. I’m here to be just another part of their daily routine, and most importantly making sure both pet and owner have their needs met!

Reviews

Ingrid is great! She always does a fantastic job checking in on our dog. She is very punctual and has great communication. We will definitely keep using her and can highly recommended her after using her several times ourselves.

Great job with our two cats, including one that needed oral medication.

Ingrid was great with my cat for a long weekend, and provided detailed updates and great photos, followed all instructions, and was very pleasant to work with! Will book again :)

Ingrid was great! She provided excellent communication, was on time, and took great care of our pup. I would highly recommend Ingrid as a responsible caregiver for your pet. We will definitely be using her again!

Safety, trust & environment
In my client’s home, I carefully follow any specific instructions to make sure your pet’s routine stays consistent and stress-free. If anything is unclear, I’ll always ask—communication is key! I treat your home with respect and make safety a top priority for both your pet and myself, creating a calm, reliable environment they can feel comfortable in.
Information Ingrid K. would like to know about your pet
I know pets can be naturally apprehensive about new people, and that is totally understandable! Please let me know of any medical conditions or behavioral traits that can help me provide a more comfortable interaction between your pet and I. Safety and communication is always my top priority!
A typical day
First and foremost is observing your pet’s body language and finding ways to make our interaction the most comfortable for them. Depending on your pet’s queues, we can find a stimulating activity to ease the mid-day boredom like a puzzle or small training session, some brushing to reduce stress and shedding, or playing with some of their favorite toys!
