Please call me Chris (middle name). I'm an active retired person, and love animals. I care for pets from only one family at a time. Two small dogs (<15 lbs) at a time, or one medium dog (16-25 lbs). No dogs over 30 lbs. There are no children or other pets in my home to cause safety issues or distress. I love taking care of dogs, but since I'm not a professional dog trainer, I'm not equipped to handle dogs with behavior concerns. Your pup is welcome if they are friendly, or at least calm, around strangers. Day care visit limited to 12 hrs.: pups under 1 yr may have additional charge for house training or accidents (no overnight); priority given to boarding clients for daycare.

Safety, trust & environment

I provide exclusive care for pets less than 30 lbs in my home on a quiet cul-de-sac, and have a larger yard for walking and playing. There are no other pets or children in the home. Your fur baby will receive lots of petting, happy talk, daily walks, and love! Maximum of 2 dogs from same owner during each stay (2 small dogs <15 lbs, or one medium dog 16-25 lbs). However, as I'm not a dog trainer, only friendly or calm dogs are accepted. New client first stays require: 1) a Meet & Greet in advance; and, 2) a completed sitter-provided intake form. Pet owner to provide food, treats, favorite toys, and one article of owner's clothing to make your pet feel at home. Pics will be sent to owner during the stay. Pick up or drop off outside of business hours require 24 hours advanced arrangement, and may be subject to additional charge.

Information Inge B. would like to know about your pet

For new clients a Meet & Greet is required, and complete a sitter-provided intake form before the first stay, including full disclosure of any pet behavior problems (i.e, prior bites, escapes/runaways, unusual eating habits such as socks or pillows, etc), or other concerns. All dogs must have an established relationship with a local vet prior to boarding, be in good health with all vaccinations, regular flea treatments, and properly house trained. Day care visit limited to 12 hrs.: pups under 1 yr may have additional charge for house training or accidents (no overnight); priority given to boarding clients for daycare.

A typical day

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are followed by a walk or play with a toy, some brushing - and perhaps a little stick throwing. Nighttime is cuddle on the couch before bedtime. Puppies under 1 yr are accepted for daycare only (no overnight), and there is an upcharge for house training.

Pet care experience

They call me Auntie Chris, providing exclusive care for your dog(s) - one family at a time! Life is nothing without pets!! Grew up with Great Danes, German Shepherds, cats, birds, horses, fish, and lots more. Ultra-careful to make sure your dog has a safe visit, and parents get daily updates. Other than short errands, I am home every day, all day, to be with your fur baby. Daily walks, and potty breaks in big yard on private cul-de-sac with little traffic. I love taking care of dogs, but since I'm not a professional dog trainer I'm not equipped to handle dogs with behavioral concerns. I'm happy to welcome your pup if they are friendly, or at least calm, around strangers. Crate trained for boarding longer than 3 days preferred (some exceptions). Day care visit limited to 12 hrs.: pups under 1 yr may have additional charge for house training or accidents (no overnight); priority given to boarding clients.

Inge was a fantastic first time sitter for Saylor. She provided routine morning updates and added more liquid to Saylor’s diet (with our consent) to combat dehydration. Inge included Saylor as part of her daily routine and never left her alone. We will definitely reach out to Inge again for future sits.

Everything was exactly as described. Spot on communication with daily updates. Went above and beyond to try to cater to my pup and make sure she felt comfortable for her first boarding stay. My pup came home happy and tired - looking forward to booking again!

Chris (aka Inge) was always reliable and nurturing to Max when we were out of town. He was happy and didn't seem to miss us while we were away. We have moved from the area, but would not hesitate to recommend her.
