I have two cats at home who do not do well with dogs and other cats, so I cannot watch pets at my home. I can have dogs at my grandmothers home though. She loves pets and has a large home with a large yard on the east side of town.

I enjoy taking dogs for ‘sniff walks’ where we go at their pace and give them time to investigate smells along the way. It’s good for their enrichment and usually a nice change of pace if they’re used to regular walks or runs. I prefer trails or hikes to suburban walks.

I am an animal lover and have taken care of many different pets my whole life. I have worked with many different breeds of dogs over the years and have experience with large, small, young, old, as well as special needs dogs. I am also able to administer medication if needed. I am not comfortable using choke or shock collars, but I am okay with gentle leads. I really love all animals and will care for yours as if they were my own.

Ileah is great with our dogs, we have 2 Australian shepherds that are high energy, they respond well to her and she keeps good control over them. She is punctual, calm, responds quickly and is professional.
