Hi! 👋 I’m Ilana (ill-ana—though like my dogs, I answer to a lot of nicknames). I’m a lifelong animal lover and love getting to know pets and their people. I’m a native Los Angeleno and have explored lots of neighborhood pockets, which makes for great, engaging walks. I built a career in photography, fashion, and e-commerce, but animals have always been a constant. I live with two rescues (one foster fail, obviously) and a cat I rescued as a kitten from under a truck. I’ve worked with all kinds of dogs and cats—different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks—and have walked hundreds of dogs over the past year, building a steady stream of clients. I’m very attuned to each pet’s needs, reliable, and respectful of your routines. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions and tend to send lots of photo updates. I also love photographing your pets, including black-and-white shots I develop in a darkroom! Most importantly, I focus on making sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.
