I would be able to walk a dog or play with them in the yard or house or park. I love dogs who like to nap and relax too and love spending time around them while they relax. I wouldn't necessarily be able to pet sit a dog or cat at my own house as we have cats at home who took a long time to bond with our dogs and would be frightened with new dogs in the house. Cats may not be as much of an issue as ours tend to be easy going with other cats who aren't very energetic.

I would like to know if your pet tries to escape through doorways, if there are any restricted areas of the house or yard, if they have any allergies or if there is anything in the house that they are not allowed to get into. It would be helpful to know if there is anything that scares them, like strangers, other dogs, loud noises or other things so that I can avoid any places that would be more stressful than fun for them.

I will give them plenty of attention and play with any of their favorite toys, or play fetch. If allowed, I can take them on walks to parks or just along the street to let them smell and explore.

My most relevant experience is with taking care of dogs, and I have learned to be very patient when meeting a new dog when they may be nervous. I have two dogs of my own that I love living alongside. I have owned cats and rabbits in the past and have a lot of experience cleaning up after them and building trust with them. They can be very nervous too and putting as little pressure on them as possible is very important to me when I am getting to know them.

Hope has such calm, nurturing energy. My pup can be a little anxious with new people, and you would think he has known Hope all his life. She was sweet and was able to walk my boy last minute when my regular walker cancelled. I wish you could be our regular walker, Hope!
Excellent pet walker. Hope took care of Goldie so well. He was so happy to be around her the whole time. She was on time and was very helpful communicating with us the whole time.
