Information Holly M. would like to know about your pet

I would need to ensure your dog(s) would not harm my cat. No constant yappers, or heavy droolers please. Also, I require your dog to have flea/tick treatment on board, and to be healthy (nothing that could be passed along to my pooches) and obviously vaccinated against rabies. Your dog must have good social skills and get along well with other dogs (shyness is fine, but must not be aggressive). For new clients, I request a meet & greet before leaving your dog(s) to ensure compatibility. Additional good things to know: -will your dog bolt when a gate or door is opened? -what are basic commands you use with your dog? (e.g. "sit," "leave it"...) -where does your dog prefer to sleep? - will your pooch chew on shoes and other items that are not dog toys? -does your dog enjoy riding in the car and does he/she walk well on a leash?

A typical day

I have a huge fenced-in backyard, a digging area, and lots of dog toys. During hot weather, I will set up a kiddy pool for splashing. If the number of dogs is manageable, I love to take them walking on the Huckleberry Trail or up to Pandapas Pond.

Pet care experience

I am an avid animal lover and have had dogs & cats all of my adult life. My two dogs Hazel and Olive are happy, social dogs. My cat Louie would prefer cat-friendly dogs only (but definitely no cat killers). We have a huge fenced-in backyard and a kiddy pool for splashing. Well-behaved dogs are invited inside through the dog door. My pets are spoiled rotten and I would be happy to spoil yours as well! I am selective about the dogs I host. Is your dog a good match? -No aggressive or destructive dogs or those with severe behavioral problems. -Must be housebroken. -No cat killers. -Must have flea/tick prevention on board and be up to date on rabies vaccine. -No constant yappers. Of course, dogs will bark when they see a squirrel, person/dog walking in the neighborhood etc, but if your dog barks constantly for no reason, this won't be a good match. -No excessive droolers or stinky dogs (please bathe before bringing). The reason for this is I allow dogs free run of my house, on my sofa, etc. -I only accept spayed female dogs and neutered male dogs unless there is an age-related medical reason as to why this procedure is being delayed. -No puppies under 6 months or dogs weighing over 100 lbs (my Olive is scared of them, and they won't fit through the dog door). Please ask if you have questions or need clarification!

Our boy just loved his time with Holly. We were very comfortable leaving him with her. She communicated well with us the entire time we were gone.

Super accommodating to Buddha who had never had to stay in a day care before. Enjoyed the pictures of him playing with the other dogs. All of the other dogs were well-adjusted, just like she'd mentioned. Would definitely use again!
