About Holly H.

Safety, trust & environment

How I Ensure Peace of Mind (Safety & Trust): With 15 years of experience in veterinary medicine, safety is built into my DNA. I don't just watch your pet; I actively monitor their health. I am expertly trained to recognize the earliest signs of lethargy, discomfort, or distress that an average pet sitter might miss. If your pet has a chronic medical condition or requires a strict medication regimen, you can rest easy knowing it will be administered safely and precisely on time. In the rare event of an emergency, I know exactly how to triage the situation calmly and act immediately. My Environment & Routine: Because I work in a clinic during the day, my home environment is kept exceptionally clean, organized, and free of any pet hazards. When I am home with your pets in the afternoons, evenings, and all day Sundays, my focus is entirely on them. I maintain a calm, low-stress environment that is perfect for anxious pets, senior animals who need a quiet space, or pets recovering from medical procedures.

Information Holly H. would like to know about your pet

Expert Care for Special Needs & Unique Behaviors: In my 15 years as a veterinary technician, I have worked with animals of every temperament, medical background, and behavioral quirk imaginable. I specialize in handling the pets that other sitters might find intimidating or complex. Behavioral Expertise: If your dog is highly reactive on a leash, fearful of strangers, or struggles with severe separation anxiety, you are in safe hands. I use positive reinforcement, low-stress handling tech, and strict environmental awareness to keep your pet calm, safe, and happy during our walks. I know how to read subtle animal body language to prevent stress before it starts. Medical & Senior Requests: I welcome pets with intensive medical needs. Whether your senior pet requires gentle mobility assistance, your diabetic cat needs precise insulin injections, or your dog is recovering from major surgery and needs strict crate-rest monitoring, I provide clinic-level care in your home. I am entirely comfortable administering injections, oral medications, and monitoring post-op incisions. No request is too complex!

A typical day

What A Typical Day Looks Like: My drop-in schedule is highly structured to give your pet consistent, reliable care around my veterinary clinic hours. Weekdays (Monday–Saturday):I start the day with a quick morning check-in to provide a necessary potty break, fresh breakfast, and any vital morning medications before work. After my clinic shift ends, the real fun begins! I am fully available all evening for long, energetic walks, park visits, dinner feedings, and evening medical treatments. I always wrap up the night with a late bedtime potty break so your pet can sleep comfortably. Sundays & Holidays: Sundays are completely dedicated to extra attention, exercise, and socialization! I provide a morning care and potty visit before church, and then I am free all afternoon and evening. Your pet will enjoy long, leisurely trail walks or supervised trips to the dog park to burn off energy. It’s the perfect balance of professional medical oversight and pure, fun pet companionship.
