Your dog's next best friend
I have a deep love for all dogs; if there's a dog at a party I'm probably petting it rather than speaking with people :) I've owned my own pup Oscar since he was a puppy and he's now 10 years old. He is very adaptable and can either be lazy all day or active all day depending on what we're doing so he would go with the flow and mirror whatever energy your dog is giving. I love caring for relatives' pets, taking them for walks or hikes, playing fetch, cuddling if they'll let me. If pet sitting is what you're interested in, we have almost 4 acres of property to run around on that your pup is sure to enjoy. If drop-ins or dog-walking is what you're interested in, I go on walks every day with and without my own dog so I would love to come and take yours out to stretch their legs. I would prefer to only have one dog overnight at a time, unless they are from the same household. If you'd like to book for "siblings", I would likely be able to accommodate that since they're already familiar with each other.

Hilary is a very kind and giving person. She is an avid outdoor enthusiast, loves animals, especially dogs. Hilary has taken excellent care of our two dogs whenever we have needed her. Our girls absolutely love being with her and her dog, Oscar. We would highly recommend Hilary for dog sitting and dog walking.

Schedule
I work from home and have a fairly flexible routine so I can usually work around your schedule if needed. I am already tending to my own pup so yours would fit right in during their stay.

Safety, trust & environment
While our yard is not fenced, it's a larger property on a quiet street and we can keep dogs on-lead if they're prone to running away or if that's preferred. There's lots of space away from the road that we can safely have a run around out back. Our house is old and can withstand a little rough and tumble from dogs so we're happy to have them stay and they are welcome on the furniture. They’re family after all :)

A typical day
I love to spend time with my dog and yours too! Whether they are snuggle bugs or super active, I'm here to give them what they need. We have a large yard with lots of smells and places to explore, trails nearby for a little change of scenery and a tidal river front if they want to dip their paws.
