It's important to know some basic information about the dog before walking it. Factors like the dog's breed, age, size, personality, medical conditions, and any specific instructions from the owner are all important to consider. This will help ensure a safe and enjoyable walk for both the dog and me. I will always communicate with the dog's owner before the walk to gather any necessary information and establish expectations. I will get a thorough medical history from the owner and ask if there are any health issues i need to be aware of. I will ask the owner if the dog can be let off the lead before embarking on long outings. The owner must give their consent before the dog can be let off the lead and the dog must be able to come back when called. Finally I will ensure all the vet health checks are up to date and dogs are vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas regularly, especially puppies. After the walk, I will check the dogs over for ticks and grass seeds.

For starters, dogs always love going on walks and exploring new places. We will explore the huge park near my house where he/she can socialise with other dogs. Other fun activities I will do with your dogs include playing fetch, tug-of-war, or even teaching them new tricks like how to sit, stay, roll over, or shake hands. Additionally, many dogs enjoy going for a swim, so visiting a nearby lake or river could be a great way to cool off and have fun in the water together. Whatever we decide to do, I will always make sure to keep the dogs' safety in mind and bring plenty of water and snacks for them along the way.
