Having 3 dogs of my own has shown me how important good daily exercise is - this could be a walk or a training session. With experience working at a dog kennel, I have learned how to properly care for dogs in the form of walking, training, feeding, bathing, etc. I have experience in caring for dogs during long periods, as well as for the day. I am building my skills in many dog-related fields, such as dog nutrition, physical rehabilitation, agility, scent work, basic obedience, and much more!

Helena walked our 3 dogs for 2 weeks while we were on vacation and she did an amazing job! She was punctual for every walk, was great a communication and gave me updates with pictures for each walk. I felt so at ease knowing my dogs were well taken care of during their walks. Shes knowledgeable and great with dogs. I highly recommend her and will be using her again for future vacations.
We could not have asked for a better dog sitter than Helana. She went above and beyond to take care of our senior dog while we were away. He took to her right away.
This was the first time a sitter came to my home, as I usually board. I immediately felt Helena was a competent and trustworthy person - and I was right. She clearly loves animals, is reliable & responsible. I neglected to make Poose's toys available & she took it upon herself to buy some! You will certainly feel comfortable knowing your pet is in good hands.
Helana is a very thoughtful, attentive and extremely insightful pet owner. She has had dogs her whole life and has dedicated her time to educating herself as much as possible on everything dog related, including anything from dog behaviours to canine nutrition. She worked as a kennel technician and dog trainer over the course of multiple years and continues to expand her dog knowledge every day. I’ve trusted my dog who has extensive reactivity issues with Helana for years now and have nothing but the highest regard for the care she provides. Any dog owner would be lucky to have such a talented dog lover care for their pets.

I am currently working part-time, meaning I will have the time to care for your pets anytime throughout the week between work shifts! Scheduling is flexible!

Safety, trust & environment
All dogs are treated like my own! It is important to me to do what makes your pet the most comfortable; walking in a pack or alone, being leashed up in busy environments or avoiding those environments for their safety. With my dogs, I take them on pack walks and they also get individual walks, this helps build their confidence and helps us connect. This would be my goal when caring for your pets, it is important to me to build a strong and trusting relationship with owner and dog! I know how difficult it can be for your pup to be away from you - my goal is to make them feel as comfortable as possible during their time with me!

A typical day
Physical and mental stimulation is a necessity for canine companions to live a long happy and healthy life. This can vary from a walk to training or couch cuddles! We will explore new areas and learn how to engage with one another in stimulating environments while making sure everyone feels safe and secure!
