I have 20 years of pet sitting experience and owned a dog running/walking business back east before moving to AZ 12 years ago. I am comfortable with dogs from puppies to seniors and cats that are friendly to the scared or bashful ones fully understanding that every pet's need is unique, and their daily rituals are paramount. I am a former chef and make organic, grain free dog treats so if your dog or cat requires a special diet, I can accommodate that so they can keep to their regular feeding schedule. I am a very active person so high energy dogs will get lots of exercise. My cat is 18 years old and needs subcutaneous IV fluids for kidney failure 3x a week. If your pet needs this while you are away, I can also accommodate for that.

I am down to 1 cat after about 30 years of having many cats and dogs. I am the person who would move all the way across the country instead of giving up my fur babies. My cat right now even comes to work with me and is a sort of therapy animal for us all as what we do is incredibly stressful. She receives subcutaneous fluids 3x a week and because of this careful care for her we have been able to keep her kidney failure at bay. I simply cannot imagine life without any of my babies.

It’s hard finding someone you trust to take care of your beloved pets. Heidi has watched our menagerie (3 dogs and 4 cats) on several occasions and I can confidently say she is the absolute best!!!! She is kind, caring and attentive. Our pups and kitties love having her visit and we feel so comfortable away from them when she is there knowing they are all getting the best care possible. We all love her!!!
We love Heidi! We have 4 cats, and they all love her. She lets them sleep with her (like we do), cleans their litter box, feeds and plays with them and in general makes my being away a lot let stressful for them. One of our kitties requires special food and medication. We can trust that his health won't suffer while we are away. We also LOVE that she sends us photos of them while we are away. Sometimes they are so artistic we think we should get them framed! Heidi's love for our cats makes going away less stressful for all of us and that peace of mind is priceless. Heidi is reliable and one of the most genuine people you will ever meet. Her laugh! We love it and her.
We met Heidi through her business Iron Pups in Massachusetts. She is hard working, honest and has a true love for all animals. Our dog Bella loved her freshly made organic and grain free treats, so we hired her to run her on days we had to work long hours. It was a huge help and Bella destroyed the house less while we were away. In fact, sometimes she was so tired she would still be sleeping when we arrived home. It was wonderful to know that she was getting love and exercise when we couldn't be there. Eventually Heidi started house sitting for us on weekends, so we didn't have to keep Bella in a crate at a hotel. Somehow the house always seemed cleaner than when we left, and she would take out our garbage and get our mail. We miss Heidi but we are happy to see she is giving her love of animals to the people of Arizona. You are lucky to know her.

Schedule
I work 4 days a week 10-hour shifts. If you live within Sedona, I am available to leave on lunch break to walk or feed them. Thursday night through Monday morning I am available for 24-hour care.
