Nothing is too much of an ask for your babies! I will always follow directions attentively while also treating them like my own. I also have a 2 year old which will end up needing to tag along with me sometimes. So we know to have boundaries when it comes to her. I am aware of how to safely introduce them as long as you are comfortable having your pup around her.

A typical day
There are many places around me that are just right for long walks. I know a sweet dog park if your pup does well at social places like that & we can play fetch, or any other activities they enjoy. But we can also stick around the neighborhood. And of course, cannot forget the cuddles & lots of pets!

Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover ever since I can remember! I worked at Sondel Family Vet & absolutely loved it! I had to unfortunately leave due to having my first child. I always enjoyed spending my days interacting with owners and their pets to make sure they were provided with the best care (While also giving them extra love.) I have also had many pets throughout my life; including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs & bearded dragons. I even recently fostered my first dog who got adopted a few weeks after I took her in! I have worked on farms with cattle & have also taken many equine classes at UW-Madison. So yes, I have quite an extensive resume working with animals!

Heather stayed with my soon to be 16 yr. old Golden and was very attentive to her needs! I received regular communications, pictures and Heather seemed to genuinely enjoy spending time with her. ? I recommend Heather if you’re looking for wonderful care for your pet.
Another great stay with Heather! She watched our two dogs and cat again and did a great job. One of our pups had some anxiety related stomach issues and Heather dealt with some very messy clean up no problem and added in extra potty breaks whenever she could. We had plenty of pictures and updates to reassure us everyone was doing well and the pets were well taken care of and happy. Can’t say enough great things!
We have two older dogs and a cat. One of our dogs takes daily meds and, behaviorally, our large dogs can be a little challenging. Heather met with us before our trip, reviewed everything we wanted to go over and made sure we felt comfortable. During our time away, she sent us constant updates and photos and wasn’t afraid to ask any questions, just do double check that we were comfortable with any choices she had to make. Our girls were happy and well taken care of. They had plenty of visits and lots of playtime. We will certainly be working with Heather again, great experience overall!
Heather was fantastic! I was nervous about letting someone into our home to watch our dog when all boarders were booked up for the weekend, but I’m so glad I trusted her. She was great with Abbey, who was very timid at first, but she opened up to Heather after just a few hours. I also got several updates and pictures that made me feel more at ease. I would highly recommend Heather to anyone and will definitely be using her again!
