Let us love on your dog!
I have many years of experience as both a pet owner and a foster for dogs. I also have a roommate who is home a lot in the fall/winter months who also REALLY loves dogs so your dog/dogs will get tons of attention! My experience as a foster mom has exposed me to all types and personalities of dogs so nothing really phases me, and I have a long list of questions I will ask you to be sure that your dog is extremely comfortable in my home. I have two teenagers who will also be there to play with, exercise, and love on your dog. I have one female spayed dog, Denali, who gets along with other dogs, and two fixed male cats (so please let’s discuss your dog’s experience with cats!) We have great trails right behind our house for wonderful walks and I live not far from the Klatt dog park, so I often go down for socializing, too, with your permission of course! **Please note I am unable for last minute sits as it does not allow enough time for a meet and greet with my animals.**

Heather took amazing care of our dog Clarabelle, again. She takes her on multiple walks a day and sends photo updates. Clarabelle can be anxious when we're gone and not eat as much, but with Heather she is happy and relaxed and eats all of her food. We highly recommend Heather!
Heather was a perfect “sitter” for our pups. She kept us up-to-date on their condition and helped calm them when the bears and moose were around. We will definitely request her to take care of our dogs again.

Our 90 lbs. German Shepherd Prinz loved his stay at Heather’s house. Not only did he get to spend a lot of time on her huge sunny deck (with a high railing), he also got to go on hikes!! Heather also administered his allergy meds without any problems. On top of all of that, we also received pics of Prinz every couple of days. When we had to pick him up a couple of hours later than planned, Heather was very easy going about it. We will definitely trust Heather with “our baby“ again!!!
1 star because she lost my year old puppy after no more than a day of boarding him with her. I had trusted her with caring for my two dogs for me for 23 days while I took a vacation to Cancun, but after only one day she let her roommate take multiple dogs on an off leash hike, including my corgi that we warned her about having a tendency to bolt from strangers. Had to waste thousands of dollars on my trip that I never got back and even more to fly back on short notice because I was so worried my boy was dead or stolen after not having any confirmed sightings of him for 3 whole days. My corgi had to survive 3 days and nights in the cold right by Seward Highway where he could have easily died. Thankfully, I got him back alive with just one small injury or I would be pursuing legal action against this woman. At least after all of this she swore she would never take any more dogs off leash, but we still had an entire trip ruined and lost an insane amount of money from her irresponsibility. Very unfortunate.
Heather is a masterpiece of a sitter and a human being. She did such a good job with our dog, she was flexible with scheduling changes and she provided excellent care in every aspect. We would happily use her again.

Programa
I walk the dogs for a short walk before I leave for work, and when I get home from work we go for about 45 minutes or so. Usually I have a teenager or a roommate around to let them out once during the day, but this is not always guaranteed.
