Availability
I work from home with a very flexible schedule which allows for multiple stops during the day to care for your pet. If boarding is needed, I'd be happy to come to your home or your pet is welcome at mine. I live by myself so your pet will have the place to themselves. The most important thing is that your pet is comfortable and happy!

I have a partially fenced in yard and my home is set back from the road. There are plenty of nice shaded areas of grass to relax or play. The inside of my home is very open so your pet will always be in my site. I have a small lake close by if they like to swim and plenty of safe areas to walk. Cats will enjoy watching the birds from my couch window as they gather by my koi pond. There is no stress here so hopefully your pet will feel comfortable and right at home!

Information Heather M. would like to know about your pet
I have the patience and experience to care for animals who might need a bit more attention. My Akita lived to be 17 yrs old and needed a lot of extra care towards the tail end of her life. I have experience with ramps, special dog walking harnesses, administering medication, and using doggie diapers. If your pet needs a bit of extra care, please let me know upfront so I can make sure they are properly cared for.
A typical day
Lots of dog friendly and safe places around my house to explore. Trails, ponds, and gardens. Cats can enjoy toys, comfortable naps spaces, and bird watching.

Accountable worry-free pet care
Pet care experience
I have years of experience with pets of all ages, size and temperaments. I understand how hard it is to leave your pet in someone else's care. I'm reliable, patient and kind. I will provide worry-free trusted care for your furry family member(s). I lost my own pet a few years ago and it's been hard to be without her. Caring for other people's pets allow me to still have animals in my life. I will treat you pets as if they were my own. I am also a former volunteer at the Animal Rescue League. I'm happy to do standard care or customize a care plan based on your needs. I look forward to meeting you and your pet. Thanks for your consideration!

So glad I found Heather — I have peace of mind when she takes care of my cats when I travel. Highly recommend.

Heather was terrific. Very conscientious and alert to elderly Pippin's idiosyncrasies. Sent lots of photos! I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Heather is amazing. Great communication. Great rapport with the dog. We had a weird request for her to stay in our hotel room on Cape Cod with our dog, Pita, and she accommodated it beautifully. Book w/out hesitation.

Fantástic and accommodating sitter ! Heather knows what she’s doing ! She was able to care for our 6 year old active mini golden doodle Nickle who is always a bit anxious when we separate . She was able to walk him and comfort him . Her amazing place is super neat, clean and spacious for your pup! Thanks so much for!
