Pet care experience
When caring for other people's animals, safety is my primary concern, followed closely by happiness and wellbeing. You can expect to receive daily updates, pictures and videos. You can also expect prompt responses from the moment I receive a request, during the booking, and even follow up messaging after the booking has ended. I make individual care plans depending on age, size and breed of the dog. Meaning that if your pup/s have high energy, more play time is necessary and allotted. If your pup/s are a laid back senior, then we spend more time relaxing. With safety in mind, I do crate dogs when I have to leave the home (no more than 2 hours at a time) and at night. Even if your pup is a perfect angel at home, sometimes, when in new environments, they like to explore. I would not want them to ingest or get into anything potentially harmful when I can't have my eyes on them. ALL DOGS MUST BE CRATE TRAINED PROIOR TO BOARDING IN MY HOME

Heather watched our pup while on vacation and we had no worries. She provided daily pictures and he always looked so happy during his stay. She was accommodating with our pick up changing as well. We will absolutely be using her in the future!
Was sad that we couldn’t take Kona on our trip, but she had a successful week at Ms Heather’s. She’s still on her routine and barely whines during her daytime crate nap. Will be our go to sitter:)

Heather has cared for our fur babies on numerous occasions over several years. They are always excited to see her and she sends us pictures and updates daily. Since I am home most of the time, we will be outside at least once every hour, even if it's just a quick potty break. When providing care in your home, weather pending, we would play outside/walk for the duration of the booked stay.

Information Heather J. would like to know about your pet
I require up to date vaccinations (Rabies, Bordetella and DHPP), as well as proof of flea, tick and heartworm prevention. I would love to know anything that needs specific attention, such as injury, illness, behavioral concerns, any known allergies, and routines. I feed my dog a raw diet, so there's no problem feeding your dog/s a raw or any other specific diet. I do not have any breed preferences. Please pack a bit of extra food just incase your pup needs a few extra calories, or you're delayed in returning home. If it is necessary for me to go and pick up additional food in the case that they are running out, you will be charged a $30 fee (Gas + Time) AND the cost of the food.
A typical day
It's important to give the same level of love, attention, and care to every animal as though it were my own. However, each dog has it's own individual needs, I am able to cater to whatever each dog's needs will be.

I am a full time pet sitter and will be home most of the day. Weather pending will we spend as much time as possible outside playing. When not outside, we'll be inside playing/relaxing.
