I have provided daily care, medical care, and training for dogs since I was a pre-teen, while my work history as a biologist has given me extensive experience in animal care and behavior in an array of species. I also assisted my aunt with rescue and novel medical cases for years when I was younger. I currently have a border collie and a miniature Australian shepherd who I have trained, and I am well versed with a large variety of dog breeds. I have also owned cats my entire life and am experienced with their care as well. Let me know about your babies’ quirks or “silly” habits that will make their care easier for them! I understand how our pets sometimes love the most random things (my puppy loves watching New Girl and it calms her down) so please share what they love! Please provide information on their personality/habits and any special requests or medical needs.

My two kitties loved Heather! She is very clearly a pet person. I felt good that they responded well and she did things with them even in her short time (drop in visits) there. I loved the pictures and the updates and would recommend Heather to anyone with any type of animal. She is knowledgeable and knows how to connect with all types of animals. She also went above an beyond by taking out the garbage on the final day. I am grateful for her help.
Heather was AMAZING!!! Even when an unexpected snowstorm hit she pivoted to make sure my pets had everything they needed AND adjusted my rate accordingly. My house was exactly as I left it and my pets didn’t miss a beat, even the cat who usually takes a minute to warm up to people.
Heather has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know, especially when it comes to animals. She’s had dogs her whole life, and the love and effort she puts into caring for her two pups now is truly inspiring. She trains them with so much patience and joy, and it shows in how confident, well-mannered, and genuinely happy they are. Heather treats every animal with kindness and respect, and you can feel how much she cares the moment you meet her. I would trust her with any pet, knowing they’d be loved like family.
Heather is an amazing dog mom! She takes training her pets extremely seriously, and provides them with a lot of enrichment. She is always keenly aware of animal needs, and is passionate about ensuring proper care for animals, including providing both food enrichment as well as any type of social and training enrichments.

Schedule
I currently work from 9-5 on Monday-Friday, but my schedule is very flexible and I can leave during lunch break at any time. On weekends I have all day availability to meet your pets’ needs
