Hayden was so great with our dog. She came over and checked on him during the day. He was so happy when we came home. She was very responsive when we checked in on Melvin and before with our meet up. I would absolutely recommend Hayden!

Hayden was contracted to care for my 7 lb. Yorkie at my house. She accepted the assignment three (3) weeks in advance and met with us twice, initially to ensure she felt comfortable staying at our house and then again, the day before, to go over everything that was expected of her. I indicated that we never leave Jax alone for extended periods of time. She was very pleasant; agreed to all and stated that she understood not only his need for food, water and potty breaks, but for companionship as well which included walks. We had an early morning 6:00 am flight and agreed that she would come to our house at 9:00, as we would feed and let him out before we left for the airport. She arrived at 11:00 am, two hours after the agreed upon time. She then left one hour later and returned and stayed for 35 minutes. With no notification or explanation, she left at 3:50 and did not return until 11:48 pm, almost 8 hours later. All times are documented by our security cameras. Meanwhile, we were on vacation 3000 miles away and worried sick as we monitored our cameras waiting for Hayden to return. Not knowing IF she was going to return or not. During this time, I texted her numerous times and finally at 9:00 pm she texted back stating that she would be at our house “soon”. Further stating that she was at a family dinner and was also taking care of another dog that was “old” and needed her. However, she still did not arrive until 11:48 which was another 3 hours. At this point, I had no other choice but to reach out to a friend that lives 45 minutes away to retrieve our pet the following morning. Hayden never mentioned to me that she had any other commitments either time we met and in fact her bio states that she only takes one client at a time. Had she told me she had other commitments, I would have looked for a different sitter. I do not recommend Hayden as a pet sitter. Because of her, we suffered tremendously with worry over our pet and had to make other arrangements for his care while we were on vacation. I have used Rover many times since 2008, and this is the first time I have ever had a bad experience. I do not like posting negative comments, but I feel it is necessary, as our beloved pets cannot speak for themselves. Our Yorkie is tiny and deserved much better care than what he received. I honestly do not know what to make of the outstanding reviews that Hayden has received on Rover. She is sweet and comes across as the “perfect” sitter, but based on my experience I do not recommend her.

Hayden did a great job taking care of my pets while I was away. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly cared about making sure everything was taken care of. I came home to happy pets, which says it all. I would absolutely trust Hayden again and highly recommend her!

Hayden has been an absolutely incredible dog sitter for my pup, Basil. From the very beginning, Hayden was professional, communicative, and genuinely caring. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing Basil is in such good hands. Hayden stays overnight with Basil, which makes a huge difference in keeping her comfortable and maintaining her routine. I can tell Basil always feels safe and relaxed the entire time, which isn’t always the case when I’m away. Hayden also makes sure Basil gets regular walks, and it is clear she puts real effort into keeping her active and happy. I really appreciate the updates and attention to detail—Hayden treats Basil like her own, and it shows. I would absolutely recommend Hayden to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and trustworthy dog sitter. Basil and I are both so grateful for her!
