Currently, much of my life is dedicated to pet-care as my long term career goals are aligned in dog training, daycare, and starting a rescue one day! I have regular dogs i care for and walk in the neighborhood, and am still accepting new clients for both weekly walks and any last minute requests!

I am a writer, I work from home and set my own hours so I am very available for pets and focused on their well-being during doggy daycare. I have a young neutered cat named Beluga. He is shy at first but then very friendly towards guests 🐶🐈⬛🙆 My apartment is a two bedroom and I have one bedroom I use exclusively for pet-care, so I can also ensure Beluga stays in my room while your pet is in my care, if need be. However, I cannot care for any dogs that are aggressive towards cats.

I would like to know if your dog has any triggers we may encounter on our walk, if they get along with other dogs/new people/cats we may meet, any commands your dog knows, and any special needs they may have.

Dogs and cats in my care will have as much attention and play time as they need. Your pet will have their own room with a clean and comfy bed and toys for play time, and plenty of walks if they are in my home for the day! They will also have access to the common areas of the apartment (living room, kitchen, supervised rooftop visits). I walk dogs around the neighborhood on the shady streets in the summer, and/or to one of the dog parks nearby if that’s okay by the pet parent! We can practice commands as we go and I always include lots of photos of your baby✨

Hi, my name is Harper, I am an animal lover and want to thank you for checking out my Rover profile! I have had dogs/service dogs as part of my life since I was a child and I’m comfortable handling all types of dogs. I started pet sitting in college and continued with pet care and dog walking through grad school and beyond! I have cared for dogs and cats in my client’s homes or in my own home, and I have a lot of experience hiking and going on fun adventures with dogs in my care. I have pet sat and worked with dogs of all breeds, such as my neighbors husky-wolf dog, rescues, and chihuahuas! Currently I walk a handful of wonderful pups throughout the week and am excited to meet new dogs and cats through Rover! I only take one dog/cat at a time in my home and only walk one dog at a time. I am interested in getting to know your pet, giving them my full attention, working on any training if needed, and being a positive part of their day!

Harper has been walking my dog Biscuit for the past year and my dog always has a great time with them! Harper always remembers to avoid Flushing and other busy streets that overwhelm Biscuit. Biscuit has gotten easier to walk since working with Harper and I’m no longer stressed and worried about Biscuit while at work with Harper as our dog walker. They are always on time and respond quickly when I need to relay care instructions for my dog. I could not recommend their services enough!
Harper has been pet sitting and dog walking for me over the past 2 years and always demonstrates true compassion for animals. My pets have become attached to them ever since the first day they cared for them. They always put my pets' needs first and I would absolutely recommend them because they are a true animal lover and they genuinely enjoy taking care of and being with them.
