Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of my parents dogs since i was young, which included walking, feeding and cleaning. I still take care of the remaining dog, which includes walks, as he is reactive i have learned how to handle a reactive dog in many different settings and I understand that lots of people go through this, I understand how to take care and not to judge someone because of their dogs reactivity. I also understand how important it is to correctly measure out food as well as administering medications correctly! I have taken care of a range of breeds, my dog is a German Shepherd mix however i’ve taken care of Chihuahuas, Poodles, Staffys, Collies, Labs, GSDs and many others! I am very passionate about dogs and I adore working and being around them, they are truly a part of the family! I also have experience in working on training in puppies or just in general dogs who need a little extra help. I also understand that each dog has different needs and i’m happy to help and provide in the best way possible! I am also open to handle any dog regardless of breed! IMPORTANT - I do not drive however I am able to get around Ballymena fairly easily so don’t let that put you off!!

Hannah was great with my dog Krystal she is very trustworthy and gentle when handling my dog. Anytime I need my dog walked she is always there for me. She was a great recommendation from a friend of mine. she has always been so great with my dog and she is amazing. I can't speak highly enough about her.
I was very impressed with the level of care and kindness showed when Hannah volunteered to walk my dog when I couldn't. My dog Pebbles was always happy to see her arrive at the door to take her out. I would definitely recommend this young lady to anyone needing their pets looked after.
Hannah was a great help in looking after my late dog whenever i needed help, she truly adores animals and it shows through every interaction she has with them. She is extremely dedicated to giving animals the proper attention and care they need!
although i only have a cat, hanna has been a delight looking after her whilst i’ve been away from home, i couldn’t recommend her more as a sitter! apart from that ive seen the love and care she gives her own dog and how well versed she is when talking about dogs, all in all she’s great and i’d recommend her to anyone looking for a caregiver.

When in your home, if your dog is crated, I am happy to keep that practice going as I understand how important routine can be. When walking I will use any tool you prefer on your dog whether that be harness, collar, etc, no judgement! When it comes to feeding, I will always carefully measure to ensure I am not overfeeding or underfeeding. When it comes to walks, I will ensure to take great care when walking your furry friend, ensuring that the surroundings are not to overstimulating, that they have no chance of getting loose and that they get a good sniff!

Ensure that i’m told if your dog needs any sort of medications or if they have certain behaviours in their routine that make them feel more comfortable! As well as if your dog is reactive to ensure I take extra precautions on where I am walking your dog, and if your dog has any specific things they don't enjoy such as being pet in certain places like ears, certain noises etc to ensure your pet feels completely comfortable!
A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs on walks as it is very good enrichment for all the smells. I also enjoy making up licky-mats for them to solve as it is also good with enrichment. I also enjoy playing fetch with the dogs and can also introduce new games like seeking toys, I also think it is good to let them run round and deflate!

Availability
I currently work weekdays however i have plenty of time after work or coming in earlier to do checkins/toilet breaks/overall just some engagements. After work i have plenty of time to take on long walks if necessary or just to stick around to give them some company. I do not work weekends so am completely free to be over when needed, can take them out whenever/multiple times a day and even overnights if needed! I understand dogs need engagement and don't enjoy being left alone!
