Part-Time Pet Care Taker
I professionally pet sat for a pet sitting company that required me to take courses/get certified in pet CPR, walking, emergency situations, administering medication, etc. Additionally, I volunteered for Hotel for Homeless Dogs, an organization based in Cumberland, RI, where I walked dogs to help them socialize and get outside! Both experiences have exposed me to walking puppies and large dogs. I also have experience taking care of cats and bunnies from previous bookings. I am dependable, communicative, and will follow all directions provided to me from owners. ABOUT RATE: I prefer getting paid off of Rover because Rover automatically deducts 20% of my total earnings and I know they charge the owners an additional fee. I accept Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, and Cash. Because Rover automatically deducts 20% of earnings/visit, I’ve developed rates that take into account the 20% deduction to ensure I receive a payment I am satisfied with. For example, if I charge $50, I will receive $40. I try to charge $15/hr, but I haven’t been able to find how to set an hourly rate. My rate is currently set to $115/night, with the assumption that I will be spending most of the day with the dog. The rate is also dependent upon the number of animals, activity, etc. I am able to modify payments per sitting. We can discuss payments one-on-one because I do try to be flexible!

My landlord does not allow pets, so I am unable to board pets or pet sit within my house. I will only be able to walk or pet sit at the client’s house.

Hannah has been absolutely amazing, truly an angel. She took care of our dog for two weeks and showed incredible commitment and care throughout. Our dog can be challenging, especially due to his anxiety around paw cleaning and eye care, but Hannah handled all of his needs with patience and skill and treated him as if he were her own. She sent daily updates without fail, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. On top of that, she took excellent care of our home and we came back to a house that was even better than we left it. Hannah is exceptional and we would absolutely trust her again. We cannot wait to have her pet sit for us in the future. 🙌🏻

Hannah communicated with us daily, sent us pictures of herself and our cat interacting and asked questions when needing answers. She spent the night with him so he wouldn’t be alone for extended periods of time. We would definitely hire her again.

Schedule
I currently work full time 7:00am-3:00/3:30pm Monday-Friday. My weekends are pretty flexible, but sometimes I do have activities planned. I’ll try to update my calendar to reflext my availability.
