Lifelong Lover of All Animals
Pet care experience
I have worked in the pet sitting world for 10 years. I have cared for all types of dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, mice & rats, ferrets, and hamsters. I am skilled in giving pet medication for your furry friends special needs. I have worked with dogs & cats of all ages and sizes. I can provide care for puppies that will need the extra TLC of frequent potty breaks, play time and even work on some training & obedience skills. I can provide long walks, dog runs, adventure days, quick potty breaks and dedicated play sessions for your pet. For smaller pets (rabbits, guinea pigs etc) I am familiar with the special care that comes with their needs as I have small pets of my own. I am always willing to work with the client and their pets needs. I look forward to meeting your fur babies!
Reviews

Hannah provided my dogs with great care and the attention that they needed. She also sent me pictures and a detailed report after every visit!
Hannah is the best. She is always right on time for scheduled walks with my two dogs (who both love to see her). She sends lots of updates and pictures so I always know what the dogs have been up to and that they are safe and cared for. She gets to know the pups, is very conscientious of their needs and will always follow up with any observations on their health.
Hannah's dedication to the care, happiness, and quality of life for the animals around her is unparalleled. She is highly skilled with a variety of animals, breeds, and temperament types. While living in Michigan, she worked for my company full time for several years as a dog walker and pet sitter, working with hundreds of different animals. She was known for her exceptional level of knowledge, thoughtful care, and attention to detail. Hannah was also frequently requested by clients, and developed lasting relationships with their pets that showed her loving heart. She has an special connection with high energy working breeds, like Border Collies, and really understanding their training and exercise needs. Hannah knows what she's doing, and she does it with love and grace.
Hannah was my dog walker and overnight sitter for a couple of years. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Hannah and her love and care of my beloved four legged crew (1 dog and 2 cats). If you're like me, it's a daunting thing to leave your fur babies in the care of someone else. Choosing Hannah as your caregiver is an easy choice. Even after moving away from town, she's stayed in touch and has come back to visit my sweet pup when back in town. If that doesn't demonstrate how much she cares, nothing else will! She's been my favorite dog sitter and it was a such a bummer when she moved. When someone loves your pets as much as you do, it so reassuring so don't think twice about having Hannah watch your animals. We love her!

Dog walking: I do my best to stick to your pets routines. If your dog is on a more structured schedule/obedience, I will keep them on that schedule. I will keep pets crated if told to do so. Walks will always start with greeting/leashing, then we head out for fun! Upon arrival back to your home, pups will get a treat, fresh water, and some love before I leave. Pet photos will be sent to the client after our walk. For house boarding & Doggy Day Care: all pets including my own dog, will always be crated upon leaving the home for their own safety. I will only allow dogs to stay in my home upon meeting the dog first, and making sure they're dog friendly and okay with cats. I prefer to keep only one other dog in my home at a time but will make exceptions for the right dogs/fit. dogs are expected to be well behaved in my home and not have destructive or aggressive habits.

(no paw touching, only prefers to be pet on head, doesn't like food bowl being touched/moved) -does your dog have resource guarding issues? -is your dog aggressive with other dogs? -is your dog reactive to other dogs? - meet and greets are required prior to scheduled services to ensure proper fit & safety for dog and walker.
A typical day
30 minute dog walks: typically start with greeting the pup and getting leashed up, after that we would probably keep the walk to the neighborhood. after walks pups get a treat and fresh water, and of course all the love! Adventure walks (1 hour or more): I would take the pup on a small adventure at the park. if the dog would rather play and get some one on one time then I would fit that into the hour visit as well. Dog Day Care & Boarding: dogs staying with me would get at least two walks, fetch/play time in the yard, and if we had time for some park adventures. Dogs would have to be comfortable/friendly with my own dogs (Aries + Envy Border Collies) and my four cats. If they're friendly, they would definitely get some dog on dog play as well. Please reach out to me beforehand if you have a multi-dog household & would like to do day care/boarding.
