To ensure everyone feels confident and comfortable, I require a meet-and-greet before we finalize any booking. This allows me to meet your pets in their own environment, walk through your home's layout, and ensure I have a clear understanding of all your specific instructions. Key details I look for include: * Health & Wellness: Any existing health concerns or specific medication schedules and dosages. * Dietary Needs: Detailed feeding instructions, including any food allergies or sensitivities I should be aware of. * Treat Protocol: I also want to know if they are allowed to have treats, which ones are their favorites, and how many they’re typically allowed to have in a day. * Behavior & Temperament: Their general personality, how they react to strangers or other animals, and any known behavioral issues or triggers. * Energy & Enrichment: Their specific exercise requirements (like walk length or frequency), typical activity level, and any favorite games or toys that keep them mentally and physically engaged. * Daily Routine: I’d love to know their typical schedule, including what time they usually wake up, their preferred potty break intervals, and their established bedtime rituals. Knowing their "normal" helps me minimize any stress while you're away. Home Access & Security: * Entry Details: During our meet-and-greet, we can go over the best way to enter, whether it’s via a spare key location, a lockbox code, or a specific garage entry. * Security Systems: If you have an alarm system, please provide instructions on how to arm and disarm it, along with any specific codes. * Emergency Info: It’s also great to know where you keep emergency contacts and your Veterinarian’s office.
