Veterinary student with a passion!
Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Hannah! I’m a third-year veterinary student at Mizzou with over 6 years of diverse animal care experience. I spent 3 years at the Adair County Humane Society while at Truman, providing hands-on care for the resident dogs and cats. For 3 summers, I worked at City Paws veterinary clinic, assisting with everything from routine checkups to advanced care. Most recently, I spent a season at Grant’s Farm working in the goat barn, gaining incredible experience with newborns and maternal care. Beyond dogs and cats, I’ve cared for many unique companions including ducks, sugar gliders, reptiles, and fish. I even have my own mischief of rats! I’m here at Mizzou’s vet school for the next 2 years, and I’d love to be your go-to pet sitter while I’m in Columbia! Whether your pets need medications, energetic playtime, or just cuddles and scratches, I’m ready to provide the care and attention they deserve. I’ll ensure your fur babies are happy, healthy, and well-loved while you’re away. I can't wait to meet you!

Reviews

Communicate is awesome! Sends lots of pics!! Knew they would be taken care of.

We needed a last minute dog sitter and found Hannah’s profile! With her background and great reviews we thought she would be a great fit. She was quick to respond and did a same day meet and greet with us! She took lots of pictures and kept us updated throughout the day. We would definitely recommend her to others and will use her again in the future!

Hannah dropped by twice while I was on an extended day trip. She was prompt and professional and left great notes and pictures. Gracie, Moses and I liked her immediately at the meet and greet. I feel confident my babies were well taken care of and would love to have Hannah care for them again!

Hannah took excellent care of my elderly cat. She was very knowledgeable and communicative! Would use Hannah again.

Safety, trust & environment
In my clients’ homes, I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for pets. I make sure they have plenty of food, fresh water, and a clean space to relax. Depending on the pet, I adjust the care to fit their needs—whether that’s playtime, walks, or crate training. I also ensure they receive lots of attention, affection, and stimulation to keep them happy and healthy while their owners are away. Whether it’s pet-sitting or a drop-in service, I tailor the care to each pet and stay on a consistent schedule to make sure they feel secure and well-cared for. I also like to leave clients' houses at least as clean as I found them!
Information Hannah C. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pets have any special needs, requirements, or symptoms that need monitoring. I’ve worked in veterinary clinics, and I’m currently in veterinary school, so I’ve had experience working with many conditions. I’m passionate about keeping animals safe and well. The more information, the better!
A typical day
I often let pets lead the way! If I'm watching a high-energy pet, I'll play fetch or tug, go on long walks, and have them practice any tricks they know! For lower-energy pups and cats, I can give belly rubs or snuggle and watch movies! I'm adaptable to just about any pet personality.

Availability
I’m a full-time veterinary student, but our classes typically end early in the afternoon. When I have a gig booked, I can stay overnight at a client’s house to ensure their pets get plenty of interaction. Depending on the distance from the vet school, I’m usually able to provide care at least every 4-5 hours. I’m happy to work with new clients and can accommodate you in my schedule!
