A typical day
Morning: I wake up early, excited for the day ahead. After a quick breakfast and coffee, I gather my gear: leashes, treats, and water bottles. Today is all about adventure with plenty of hiking and trail walks planned! First Client: I arrive at my first client’s home, greeted by enthusiastic barks and a wagging tail. After a few pats, I clip on the leash and head to the car. At the trailhead, I let the dog out, and they bolt ahead, eager to explore. We hike together, stopping for sniffs and playtime. I throw a stick, and they bound after it, joy radiating from every wag of their tail. We find a stream, and they splash around, shaking off water and bringing laughter to my day. Midday: Second Client Next, I visit another excited pup and take them to a nearby nature trail. Their nose is in overdrive, investigating every scent. We reach a small hill, and with a little encouragement, they climb it, looking back at me with pride. Afternoon: Group Adventure Later, I have a group outing planned with a couple of energetic dogs. At the local dog park, I unleash them, and they take off, chasing each other in pure joy. I throw balls, and they happily join the game, their personalities shining as they play. Evening: Wrapping Up As the sun sets, I return each dog home, giving them final scratches and words of praise. I feel fulfilled, knowing I’ve given them a day of adventure and fun. Reflecting on the day, I’m grateful for the time spent with each dog and can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow!
