I work remotely from home so at the moment, my life is pretty conducive to boarding pets! I can walk your dog every couple of hours, generally a short walk in the morning, one at lunch time and longer walk in the evening on weekdays. I’d love a hiking buddy on weekends if your dog would like that as well!

I have a gated courtyard that the dog is free to run around in and I live in a very dog-friendly neighborhood - Piedmont Ave. For dogs with allergies, I have an air purifier and I also have experience in giving any medications, oral or injectables!

I like to know if dogs have any allergies, physical ailments (especially hip problems), favorite foods and how they behave with other dogs, children, and other animals.
A typical day
I believe mental stimulation is just as important as physical so I love coming up with homemade cognitive dog toys/exercises to keep them mentally stimulated. As for physical activities, I love to go on frequent walks since I live in such a dog friendly neighborhood. I enjoy Piedmont cemetery as well as Temescal Lake. I’m happy to drive your dog to some nearby parks like Joaquin Miller if you would be comfortable with that!

My name is Hanna and I would love to help you care for your precious family member! I grew up with dogs and have always been my friends and family’s go-to person for pet-sitting. I love getting to know each animal and understanding their likes and dislikes, meeting each pet where they’re at. I’ve volunteered as a foster parent for rescue shelters as well and just like any human, I see every animal as a unique soul and strive to be as trauma-informed as possible for rescue animals. I know how difficult it can be to not be able to spend as much time as you’d like your pet so I’m always happy to send as many photo/video updates as you’d like!

Our dog had a great time with Hanna! She is incredibly loving and gives amazing attention to details. Hanna went out of her way to make sure that our dog was not just comfortable and well taken care of but understood. Cricket was happy to come home but probably would have stayed with Hanna too!
Hanna is such a haven for me to send my dog to. Winston is an older dachshund with a history of some back issues, and he can be a bit antisocial when it comes to other dogs so I really try to find a cozy, quiet place for him to stay when I’m gone. Hanna is the absolute best and I have so much confidence when Winston is staying with her. He’s been here several times now and I always feel like he’s in good hands.
