I’ve never met someone that is more interested in the health and well-being of all animals, big and small. Hanna grew up with two large dogs whom she loves. She regularly attends the reptile expo in Kalamazoo to learn more about various snakes, spiders, and other insects. She even goes out of her way to understand which species may be invasive in the wild to better support her local ecosystem. I’ve seen her gain the trust of her professors to house sit and care for a range of different animals, all of which she has done a fantastic job. She understands that pets don’t just need food and water, but attention, love, and play as well. If there is a pet that needs to be looked after and you don’t want to worry, there is no one better for the role than Hanna.
