She takes very good care of all our animals, and we have a lot. We have 1 lizard, 2 ducks, 3 cats, fish tank, and a 9 month old puppy. All animals are healthy and happy and it's all thanks to hadleigh.

I’m very safety-conscious and always prioritize the comfort and well-being of every pet I care for. I prefer to care for pets in their own home, where they’re familiar with their surroundings and routines. I closely follow any instructions provided and make sure pets feel calm, safe, and loved while their owners are away. While I’m open to caring for pets in my home when needed, I always make sure the space is secure, clean, and calm. As a vet tech student, I’m trained to notice signs of stress or discomfort and respond quickly to keep pets happy and safe.

It’s important for me to know your pet’s feeding schedule, bathroom routine, and any medications, supplements, or vitamins they take. I’d also like to know what activities they enjoy and if there are any behaviors I should be aware of — like anxiety triggers, quirks, or things they might be reactive to. The more I know, the better I can care for them just like you would!
A typical day
A typical day would be based around the pet’s needs and preferences. I always hope the owner can provide a list of their pet’s favorite activities, but I also pay close attention to how each pet interacts with me — like if they have a favorite toy, enjoy belly rubs, or love to explore on walks. I try to match their energy, whether that means lots of playtime, cuddles, or a mix of both. I’m all about making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and entertained while you’re away!

Availability
I currently work part-time at Raising Cane’s, but animal care is a big part of my daily life. I care for my 3 cats, a leopard gecko, and a 55-gallon fish tank every day. I feed, clean, and check on all of them in the morning before work and again when I get home. On my days off, I spend even more time making sure their environments are clean and their needs are fully met. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I’m always happy to adjust my schedule for the pets I’m responsible for.
