Thank you for visiting my profile! After more than 20 years of touring as a classical musician - as well as managing my own music company - I decided to retire in 2015 and a more tranquil pace in my life. I started traveling around the world and was blessed with the loving company of animals along the way during more than 50 house and farm sits. While traveling I started writing and publishing books, which means I'm spending a lot of time home writing, so your fur babies will get a lot of love and attention. I'm very experienced with dogs of all sizes and absolutely LOVE cats. Had many sits with large numbers of animals - 6-7 frequently, on a farm sit even 17 once - so larger numbers are no problem. You will get daily pictures and videos of your babies and my response time is usually within minutes. Can't wait to hear from you & meet your furry friends! Thank you for reading my profile!

We have a lot of pets and one of our dogs wasn't eating well, so we were very nervous to leave them for 10 days. I told Gundi how worried we were and she texted me updates after every meal, sent lots of pictures, and it was very clear our animals were being very well taken care of while we were gone. She was very careful to follow our care instructions and even took our dogs for pup cups a couple times at our favorite dog friendly coffee shop, their favorite place to go on walks. She stayed at our house and left it as we left it, couldn't tell someone had stayed there. We will definitely be booking her again, glad to have someone we can trust who treats our furbabies as well as we do!
We couldn't be more pleased. Our two cats were well cared for, and while we were away the sitter sent us updates by email, including photos of the cats. When we got home, the house looked just as it did when we left. The mail and newspapers were neatly collected. The indoor plants were tended. We would recommend this sitter, especially for anyone needing a pet companion.
Gundi did a fabulous job pet/housesitting for us! Everything was perfect when we got home. Gundi is very professional and caring. My husband is very reluctant to travel because he does not like to leave our dogs. But our dogs were very happy and well taken care of while we were gone for almost a month. I highly recommend G
I could not have been more pleased that "G" responded to my request for a house sitter. We hit it off right away and I was comfortable communicating with her from the start. She arrived 3 days early so we could overlap for the benefit of the pets. It was great spending time face to face. By the time we left I knew "G" was the right person for our menagerie and house, and I was quite comfortable. She took amazing care of the animals, including an injured sheep, an ill dog, and a dying elderly cat. She also kept the house clean and orderly. I would be thrilled to use "G" again in the future.
