Let me provide you with peace of mind while you're away! I'm a licensed veterinary technician with many years of professional pet care experience. I began pet sitting when I was in high school, got my Bachelor's degree in zoology as well as my dog training certification, worked as a kennel manager for a boarding kennel after graduating college, then went back to school and became a licensed vet tech. Now I'm working part -time, which puts me in an ideal situation to offer some pet sitting services. I also have years of dog training experience, and I train and compete in dog agility in my spare time. As a former kennel manager and as a pet parent, I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust to care for your pets while you're away. I know that your pets are members of your family, and they deserve to be treated as such. I will care for your pets as I care for my own fur-babies. I can provide a safe, comfortable home-away-from-home for your dogs where they will get plenty of attention and interaction! My home includes 3 dogs and 2 dog-friendly cats. I have a fully fenced yard for the dogs. If your pet has any medical needs, I can provide them whatever they need. To provide the safest environment for your dog(s) as well as my own, I do request that your dog(s) be up to date on vaccines as well as flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention before staying with us in our home. I also request that puppies be crate trained. As it has come up in the past, please be aware that I am NOT willing to use an electronic/shock collar on your dog while they are under my care. Please understand that I have a young child at home, and her safety is my top priority. For that reason, I can only board dogs that are child-friendly and gentle. If I believe that your dog(s) staying in our home will in any way cause a safety concern, I will decline the boarding request. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have, so please don't hesitate to contact me! *Holiday rates apply.*

Gretchen gave me updates with pics every morning, my dog looked so happy. We couldn't have been happier with the care that she gave my dog. We will definitely use Gretchen again and again.
Absolutely Fantastic! Gretchen watched my Golden Retriever/ German Shepherd mix overnight and she was the best. She sent me updates with pictures throughout the stay and my dog had a blast! We met a couple of days before at a park to make sure that her dogs and my dog were a good fit. My dog is shy and timid but felt right at home with Gretchen. I will most certainly be using her again!
Our four month old puppies loved their stay at Gretchen’s. They were relaxed and happy when we picked them up. Gretchen handled all details professionally and seems to be a real animal lover.
Gretchen is a fabulous dog sitter with excellent credentials. She made the experience wonderful from the meet and greet, updates and pictures during the stay, drop off and pick up. My high energy dog came home exhausted. I highly recommend Gretchen :)
Gretchen was very knowledgeable about dogs and obviously likes them a lot. Our dog has a health issue that she paid close attention to, which we really appreciated. And the daily pictures of Divi having fun at her house were great!
shiloh came home tuckered out which means she had a great time playing with Gretchen's gang. we were kept a breast of shiloh's doings. all went well for all!

I'm currently working part -time at a local animal clinic, and I have availability to pet sit Fridays-Mondays. Longer stays can be considered on a case by case basis.
