Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, as I am currently available full-time and able to structure my schedule around the needs of the dogs in my care. I’m transitioning from a long-term professional career in project management, which means I bring a high level of reliability, organization, and follow-through to pet care. I’m home throughout the day, available for walks, playtime, feedings, and supervision, and I can accommodate daytime, evening, overnight, and extended care with consistency and flexibility

Safety, trust & environment
I provide a safe, structured, and supervised environment for every dog in my care. My one-acre property is fully fenced and secure, and dogs have supervised access to both indoor and outdoor spaces through a large dog door. I am present while dogs are here and do not leave them unattended for extended periods. My home is fully pet-friendly, clean, and free of hazards. I introduce dogs gradually to ensure comfort and compatibility, and I can separate dogs if needed. I am comfortable administering medications and carefully follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any special care instructions provided by owners. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space, maintain routines exactly as instructed, and provide clear communication and updates.

Information Gregory W. would like to know about your pet
It’s helpful for me to know your dog’s routine, personality, energy level, and any special needs ahead of time. Please share details about feeding, medications, allergies, fears, reactivity, or behavioral quirks so I can provide the best care possible. I’m comfortable with most breeds, sizes, and ages, and I especially enjoy working with friendly, well-socialized dogs. Clear communication up front helps ensure a safe, stress-free experience for everyone.
A typical day
I love creating a fun, structured day that keeps dogs both physically active and mentally engaged. We’ll start with a morning walk to explore the neighborhood and enjoy plenty of new smells. Throughout the day, we’ll play games like fetch or tug, practice basic commands for mental stimulation, and enjoy outdoor time at a nearby park. I also make sure there’s downtime for rest, cuddles, and a calm environment so your dog feels safe and comfortable while you’re away.

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Greg — a lifelong dog owner and animal lover based on the east side of Napa in a quiet, country setting. I live on a fully fenced, one-acre property that offers a safe, relaxed environment where dogs can enjoy space, comfort, and freedom. One thing that’s important to me — and often reassuring to pet parents — is that dogs in my care have free flow between indoors and outdoors. My home is 100% dog-friendly, and dogs are never restricted to being outside or confined indoors. I have a large dog door, and dogs are free to move in and out as they choose. I am always present when dogs are here, ensuring they are supervised, comfortable, and able to follow their normal routines. I offer a wide range of flexible services, including dog walking, daytime care, overnight stays in my home, transportation to appointments, dog park visits, and longer outings such as hikes. I understand that every dog has different needs and energy levels, and I tailor care accordingly — whether that means active exercise, social time, or calm companionship. I’ve owned and cared for both small and large dogs my entire life and have regularly helped friends and family with walking, overnight care, and extended stays over the years. I’m comfortable administering prescription medications and following detailed care instructions when needed. At home, your dog will be in good company. I have two friendly, well-socialized dogs who are fully vaccinated and receive regular care at Silverado Veterinary Hospital. They are accustomed to interacting with other dogs and people, and dogs can join us for social outings or enjoy individual care depending on temperament and your preference. I also understand the trust involved in leaving your dog with someone else — I’ve used Rover myself when traveling and know how important it is to feel confident that your dog is safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. My goal is to provide a calm, attentive, and dependable experience where both dogs and their people feel at ease. If you’re looking for flexible care, open communication, and a home environment where dogs can truly feel at home, I’d be happy to connect and see if I’m a good fit for you and your dog.

Great communication - Greg replied to our last minute booking in a timely manner, he coordinated the stay proactively & provided updates throughout the day. Greg’s Place - the yard is large & fully fenced, there are cozy dog beds & free access for the dogs indoor/outdoors. Greg’s Fur babies - Bubby & Chloe are both lovely, friendly dogs who readily invited & helped to look after our dog in their home. Would definitely book again. Thanks Greg!

Gregory was absolutely wonderful with my dog! He was super flexible and accommodating with drop-off and pick-up times, which made the whole process stress-free. I loved receiving the frequent updates and pictures he sent throughout the stay. It was incredibly reassuring to see my dog so happy! Gregory is genuinely kind and caring, and it is clear he treats pets like his own (his dogs were also incredibly friendly and welcoming to my dog!). I will definitely use his services again in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great sitter!

Greg provided the perfect location for our dogs to spend the day while we were at Bottlerock. His home is close to the Napa Valley Expo and Greg allowed us to leave our car at his place. It was great that our dogs could run around his dog-proof fenced yard and hang out with Greg and his dogs. Greg took good care of both our young active dog and our older sedentary dog, making our day in Napa very relaxing.

Greg was great!!! It was so nice to have the indoor-outdoor living and outdoor roaming space for our big dog! We will definitely be coming back!
