I'm a great caregiver for all types of dogs and cats because of my genuine love for animals. I provide them with tailored care, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and happy. I'll offer patience, attention to their unique needs, and genuine affection. I bond easily with dogs, whether your pup thrives with cuddles, ear-scratches, tug-of-war, fetch, walks, or even finding just the right stick. And of course picking up all the poop. My love for animals started young; my family had a small farm with dogs, sheep, and even a skunk. We had dozens of dogs growing up, which taught me pet responsibility early, from the basics of food, water, and hygiene to how much fun it can be to enrich their environment, engage and play with them. I once worked for two years as a veterinary technician, cleaning kennels, administering medicine, checking in with owners, walking dogs, and monitoring their well-being and moods. This and other caregiving experiences over the years has given me plenty of experience giving medicine to reluctant seniors. I'm a big softie when it comes to pets, but I am also capable being firm as needed in accordance with the pet owner's preferences if behavior management is a concern. For instance, I know how to manage a strong and willful, leash aggressive large dog on a walk.
