Pet care experience
I have had dogs since I was about 10 years old.My current dog is a 7y/o Border Collie with anxiety and reactivity issues. He takes daily medication and we are actively working on reactivity training. I am comfortable with dogs, cats, and open to other animals on a case by case basis. Please note any potential behavior issues beforehand, and we can work something out! All animals deserve love and care and I am happy to contribute.

Grace is amazing! We planned a family fishing trip that our dogs were not able to join us for while we were camping for the weekend. After calling around to every Doggie Daycare we could find and none of them being able to accommodate our needs we checked on Rover and found Grace. She was incredibly accommodating, and was so great with our dogs. We loved getting photos of them and updates while we were on the boat! She made it so much more comfortable to leave them and give us peace of mind knowing that we didn't have to worry one bit. She was prompt, communicative, and so sweet. If anything ever puts us in a position of needing care for our dogs when on the island again we will 100% be using Grace!
Grace kindly signed up to look after my two kitties on short notice. She managed to give the one his medication even though he hid both times. Both seemed happy and healthy when I got home, and she even did up the dishes which was above and beyond!
Grace S was a fantastic sitter for our cat. All went well. We hope to use Grace’s services in the future.
Grace was fantastic! We loved all of her notes and photos of Mimi and knowing she was there to check on her daily brought us so much relief while we were on vacation. Highly recommend Grace!

Please let me know if your pet has any history of behavior issues such as resource guarding or biting/nipping. Or if they don't like to be touched, picked up, reached at, etc. I have experience giving oral medication, and I have administered insulin before. I have no further experience with special needs animals but if there are clear instructions I will likely be comfortable helping out.
A typical day
My dog is very high energy and we play lots of home enrichment games, which I can also play with your dog! I can also just sit on the couch and keep them company if needed.

Availability
I work Monday-Friday 8-4, and I am able to leave work for 15-30 minutes if necessary. I have very few other commitments and the ones I have are quite flexible.
