Striving to provide your pets’ home away from home! I have loved critters of every kind since I was very young. If you asked me when I was a kid what I wanted to be when I grew up, the answer was always veterinarian! I have worked with animals for all of my adult life, I am currently a certified dog groomer with a background in veterinary medicine. I started my career in shelter medicine, and worked at a general practice clinic for five years! I have since branched out and earned my fear free certification for small animal and equine. I am also Pet CPR certified, am a certified dog trainer, as well as a graduate from the Grooming Academy of Indiana. Having Fear Free certification allows me to create a calming environment for pets while they are away from home. I am extremely comfortable with all types of animals and conditions/medications including diabetics, addisonians, epileptics, and renal patients! I try to be flexible, and provide excellent care just like they would get at home! I have also been showing/training/sporting dogs for the past few years or so. This has helped my animal husbandry/knowledge of animal behavior tremendously! I am very comfortable with the ins and outs of navigating multiple animals who are intact in the same household, and can read canine behavior extremely well! I attend training classes and sporting events with my personal pets regularly, and we love to hike as well!

We always feel good leaving our dog with Grace! She gives wonderful care and keeps us up to date with lots of pictures.
Grace is so great with our dog! He loves to go there and we feel so confident knowing that he’s going to have a great time with her.
As always, we love going to Grace! She and her husband are great with our dog. He’s always happy to go.
Grace is AMAZING! She has a very sweet personality and made me and our dog feel right at home. This was Gideon’s first time to stay in someone else’s home. Grace sent us pictures while we were away, and made sure he was walked. I could not say enough good things about her and highly recommend her to any dog parent looking for someone to take care of their dog when they are away.
Grace was great while we were away! She sent us pictures of our pup which gave us peace of mind. Coming from a one dog household I was a little worried with our Sasha would do but she came home with brand new friends and happy as can be! Will definitely be using Grace again!
Grace was great! We’re looking forward to scheduling another visit!

Dates de la garde
As a Groomer, I do usually work in the salon most weekdays! I’m up early making sure everyone is taken care of, and receives adequate exercise! Usually I am available for drop off in the afternoon/evening, and on the weekends!

I have a fenced in yard, but potty breaks/playtimes are monitored for safety. My Dogs are usually crated while I am not home for safety purposes, they can be mischievous sometimes. My cats usually have free rein while I am not home, but can definitely be adjusted for kiddos who are not cat savvy! When I have extra dogs around, I usually keep them separated from other dogs for safety reasons unless an owner approves of supervised playtime! My kids are very social, and have appropriate play responses with other dogs!

Pets in my care will get lots of hands on time, as well as mental and physical enrichment. We spend lots of time playing outside, playing with toys/puzzles, or just lounging on the couch! We try to tailor each stay to the individual pet’s needs.
