Pet care experience

Tail Wags Guaranteed! 🐾

Hey there! My name is Giselle, I'm a psychology student at Western and Bellingham local! I have grown up with various pets with my favorites being dogs and cats of course. (Though I do have an awesome fishtank!) I've got a long history of dogsitting, housesitting, and babysitting around town! When it comes to pet sitting my number one for the animal is keeping anxiety low and quality time outdoors high. Love to go hiking on galbraith and other trails give that extra mile for the pups! I believe when it comes to pet care you gotta throw all your energy to them (no half-assing it) I care to give your pups the invigorating, joyful, and healthy exercise they deserve! Happy to stay the night and watch over packages, mail, and other various things! ☺️🐾🤘🐕

Safety, trust & environment

I am happy to stay over on a pull out couch and provide overnight support for your pet or just go back and forth from my home. Whatever makes you most comfortable! I have been doing housesitting, babysitting, and dogsitting for around five years and am responsible in always locking up the house and keeping things tidy. My saftey limits include: I am not comfortable with other people staying the night in the home whilst I am there as privacy and safety is important to me.

Giselle is such a caring and reliable pet sitter. Gets all the instructions right the first go round and even sends pics of my doggo all happy without prompting. Thanks for always doing such a great job.

Giselle is a wonderful pet sitter! She’s responsible, communicative, and clearly cares for animals. Giselle has stayed in our home and cared for our dog a handful of times and I’d recommend her 100%.

Giselle was a wonderful pet sitter, and she was able to help us out last minute when another sitter cancelled. She obviously loves animals, she was very tidy, and she sent updates. We would definitely work with her again!

Giselle was outstanding with my older pup. Sent a really cute pic of him on their walk and made my day.

Giselle was absolutely wonderful with our two highly anxious dogs while we were away! She stayed overnight and took such great care of them—you wouldn’t even have known she was there, except for the happy pups and spotless home we returned to. From the start, her communication was prompt and thoughtful. Our initial face-to-face meeting put us both at ease—she was incredibly sweet, asked all the right questions, and clearly adored our dogs. While we were gone, she sent multiple photos that gave us total peace of mind. She even checked in multiple times regarding our return time home, and made an extra trip to let the dogs out AND walk them! We’ve used Rover multiple times, and Giselle was by far our favorite petsitter. She’s reliable, caring, and genuinely personable. We’d book her again in a heartbeat!

Giselle was fantastic to work with! We did the initial meet and greet but my dog (who is a 175lb giant) was post cataract surgery so she came by a 2nd time to go through the additional eye drop care. I was so nervous to leave him in that state and in general but Giselle assured me she'd he thorough and follow everything he needed. She was great with updates and I came home to a happy dog who had all his eye care covered! It was a demanding care schedule with multiple times a day eye drops and oral meds. I'm so grateful for Giselle's dedication to his medical needs! I will absolutely be working with her again!

Schedule

I've got great availability as a college student living at home, my schedule varies a little depending on the quarter but usually I only have classes in the middle of the day and work as a barista at crusin a few days of the week! This makes me very accessible for walks in morning/evening and a little potty break during the day.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs, medications or things that I should know ahead of time, happy to work with you on that! I have a lot of experience with oral medication, eye drops, and leg injuries. Thank you folks!
