I love dogs with the sort of enthusiasm that at times annoys my entire family. I have three rescues. Small (Donna Sue), medium (Dodge) and large (Lou). They are slotted in right alongside my two human children as far as love and affection goes. ;) I am working on my last two years of my psychology program and have the sort of free time that makes my love for animals a practical form of work. Which is great since, if you do what you love then you’re always pleased to go to work! I would have all the rescues in the world if I could. But since that’s not an option, let me love your dog for you when you need a sitter or a walker or both! I am comfortable with most animals and am happy to sit for kitties too.

My dogs are esteemed members of my family and all Three have vastly different personalities. My 8 year olds love to be by my side or on top of me all day everyday. They sleep with me in my bed but I respect any pet owners rules and routines they have for their own pets. I parent how they prefer me to parent. My third and youngest dog loves the outdoors and walks and playtime and basically any form of socializing. So she’s the extrovert of my crew. I can be trusted to follow a routine and schedule an owner has for their pet.

I like to know their energy levels. Their relationships to other dogs and any quirks I need to get familiar with ahead of time. If there’s a specific diet or medication list I need to know this. And how they do on walks.
A typical day
If they’re cuddle bugs and allowed on the sofa we will watch tv and enjoy our one on one time. If they’re up for playing we will play outdoors and take lots of walks and get tired out every day so we sleep well. I love when a dog has a routine so we can keep life as normal to their daily life as possible.

Availability
I have a flexible schedule. My spouse works from home so when I pet sit, my furry and human children are cared for. I also can work around most schedules if I have a few Days notice for walks, a week for staying over.
