I love and have a great deal of experience with many “Furry friends,” not only Dogs and Cats, but with many exotic pets as well, including Sugar Gliders, Parrots, iguana’s, etc,. I believe structure is very important when you leave your pet, to continue their daily routine as status quo. It’s hard enough on them when your gone, so it’s important for them to get lots of love, comfort, and security. I also know and understand how hard it is for the pet parent to leave their furry baby’s with a total stranger for the first time as well, so I want to give you as much as my background information as I possibly can, and please always feel free to ask me any questions you want during our “meet and greet.” I was born and raised on Long Island, in NY. I have two amazing adult children who are currently starting families of their own. I don’t smoke, and only drink on special occasions. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management (BBA-Management), as well as an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Human Services. I worked in the field of adults with special needs for 15 years as a Residential Habilitation Specialist, as well as a Vocational Assessor, and 11 years at Briarcliffe College as a Senior Executive Admissions Advisor. I absolutely loved both of my careers, but in my heart, I have always had a love for animals, therefore my long term goal is to open a not for profit, no kill shelter. One day in the future, I will indeed follow that dream. Throughout my entire adult life I have always been “the” pet sitter for family, friends, their friends, etc,. and have always enjoyed it immensely! I also volunteered for the wild life association in NY, as well as the dog shelter in Mount Vernon. I just recently purchased my home in Spring Hill, FL and am currently home full time due to an early retirement, which enables me to be very flexible. I would now love nothing more than to work with pets again, as they have always made me happy! Please be assured that when you entrust me with your pet/loved one, that they will be my number one priority while in my care, and I will provide them with lots of love. I believe that animals were placed on this earth as a gift to make humans happy! In my eyes pets can do no wrong, they are like innocent children and only want to love and make their pet parents happy. I am home full time and am extremely flexible. I am very responsible and will always communicate with you throughout the day to keep your mind at ease My yard is completely fenced in, my home is very clean and bug free, I have one small dog that absolutely loves having pet visitors, he doesn’t have a mean or aggressive bone in his body. I am extremely responsible and will care for your pets as though they are my own. I am also fully vaccinated for Covid-19, but still very responsible, by always taking safety measures.
