I work full time outside of the home but I work very close to my home so I leave home around 7:45 am and am back around lunch and then again at 4:30. I try to be as flexible as possible for your dogs’ needs and we can always communicate about how best to serve them.

I have a fenced (6 ft wooden) in yard and one pup of my own to keep yours company. He loves a playmate, but is also comfy giving space to dogs who prefer to relax. My neighborhood is pretty dog friendly, and I’m near a park with a walking trail.

Let me know if there are any special needs for your pup. I keep a crate at home for visiting pups but don’t use it unless I know the dog prefers it.

I try to keep your dog on their normal schedule as much as possible! If they normally get two walks a day I will accommodate - very easy within my neighborhood. My dog loves weekend trips to different parks around town - wherever dogs are welcome!

Owning dogs my whole life I’ve had experience with all sorts of breeds and sizes. I have one friendly male pup named PJ who gets along with every dog he meets. I own my home in Jefferson Terrace and the dogs will have access to a dog door to the fully fenced in yard all day and night. They are also invited on any of the furniture in my home. I only sit one dog at a time, but just send me a message if you have more than one pup you need sat and we can work out a discounted rate for multiple dogs from one home! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments - as long as they’re okay with another dog in the house we’ll be fine. I’m comfortable handling and administering meds as needed and I am certified in Dog and Cat first aid and CPR. I have no problem treating your pup as my own and administering scritches, hugs, words of encouragement and pets as needed.

At first I was extremely concerned bc this was my first time using Rover, but Gina was AMAZING. I would periodically check in on my camera to see how he was doing and he was having a BLAST. I think he may have had more fun than I did on my vacation. I will definitely be requesting Gina next time that I’m out of town or working late.
Gina is the best dogsitter in Baton Rouge. She loves dogs and treats them like family. Will definitely hire her again.
