Hi there, I'm Gillian! I'm relatively new to Rover, but not to pet-sitting and walking. I am the go-to pet sitter for family, friends, and neighbors since they understand that I am reliable, responsible, trustworthy, and, most of all, loving when looking after their pets. Growing up, I learned the responsibilities of pet care thanks to my childhood best friend - my German Shepherd, Sami. Now, I care for my goofy senior Black Lab mix, Ringo, who loves to sunbathe, as well as my sister's dog, Allen, and cat, Milkshake. I'm extending my services (drop-in visits, house-sits, and walking) to the local Rover community as I genuinely love looking after animals. Hiring me to look after your pet ensures that they will receive the best care experience. I am communicative and will send photos and updates during my visit. I'm also intuitive and understand well their body language and how to help them feel comfortable around someone new if that's something they struggle with. I love to provide snacks, belly rubs, playtime, and cuddles. As mentioned, my dog Ringo is a senior (13.5 years) with multiple health needs. He's a bit stubborn when it comes to oral medication, teeth brushing, and ear cleaning. I also have experience caring for blind dogs and those with severe anxiety and help them feel safe.
