Individualize Pet Care Just for You
As a queer, non-binary person, I have always worked to ensure that everyone, including our pups, feel welcomed and valued. Growing up surrounded by dogs taught me early on that caring for animals is about more than just meeting their basic needs; it's about understanding each one as an individual with their own personality and needs. Throughout high school and college, I became the go-to pet sitter in my neighborhood, building trust with families by being reliable, attentive, and genuinely invested in the well-being of their pets. I've worked with dogs at every life stage: energetic puppies learning boundaries, senior dogs needing extra patience and care, and everything in between. My teaching background has given me the skills to approach each dog with patience and intentionality, recognizing that their behaviors communicate what they need from me. Whether I'm caring for multiple pets at once or working with dogs who have special needs, I approach the work with the same philosophy I bring to my teaching: build relationships first, listen closely, and create an environment where every pup can feel safe, happy, and supported in being exactly who they are!

I prioritize understanding what each dog needs to feel safe and comfortable. I work to meet them where they are, whether that means high-energy play or a quieter, more relaxed pace. I'm active enough to keep up with energetic dogs, but I also value the slower, more intentional time that comes with caring for senior dogs or those who need a gentler approach. My goal is to create a calm, predictable environment where your dog feels at ease. I know that consistency matters, so I make it a point to honor their established routines. If there are specific things that help your dog feel more comfortable, I want to know about them. I'm committed to ensuring that the care I provide reflects what your dog actually needs.

Gil was amazing!! So punctual, conscientious, thoughtful, and loving to Ernie! We are so grateful to have a great sitter for our gurl. Ernie had a great time joining outings with Gil and friends, walks, park time, and home snuggles. Thank you!!!!!!
Amazing. Gillian did an amazing job with our two little dachshunds, was very consistent with the way I train them and also considerately left my place immaculate. Lots of updates were given during the time we were away!

Gillian went the extra mile while watching our two dogs while we travelled. She kept us updated she walked the dogs (even in not so great weather) she was exceptional watching our home - brought the garbage cans out and back, ran dishwasher, washed and changed sheets and accommodated a delayed flight. We loved her our dogs loved her. I would recommend her to anyone!
We were able to travel abroad without worrying that our pups were in great hands. Gillian gave us that peace of mind. They sent lots of “pupdates” which we loved and read over meals etc. Our home was left in great shape and they followed all our suggestions. Thank you Gillian!
