I'm home with your pet most of the time. I'm a bit of a homebody and rarely leave for more than an hour or two. Lots of snuggles happen here!

Safety, trust & environment
I'm obsessive about the safety of your pet. Everyone must go through at least two doors before they can get outside. I live in a quiet, very low-traffic Ward 1 neighborhood with great neighbors who look out for each other. My dog Maggie is a gentle, well-behaved, well-socialized 28-pound French Brittany mix who is very good at "reading" our furry guests and matching their energy level and personality.

Information Gienna S. would like to know about your pet
Food, bathroom, sleep & medication schedules are most important. Let's discuss at our meet & greet! All dogs are good dogs. But all dogs have their quirks, too. Please don't hesitate to fill me in. Counter-surfer? I'll make sure to remove any temptations. Exactly three treats before bed? I'm all about keeping up a routine. Absolutely no human food, no matter what, ever? I will follow your rules because *you* know what is best for your dog.
A typical day
We're in a fairly woodsy area near a pond and other natural spaces, so there are lots of great places to walk and sniff. Don't worry, though: Low-key dogs or couch potatoes will do just fine here, too!

Your Pup's Fave Home Away From Home
Pet care experience
FT care + fenced yard + one client at a time = your pet's ideal home away from home! I'm a long-time pet owner and sitter who fostered for the New England Animal Shelter for several years, helping dogs adjust to new environments & people. I work full-time as an in-home pet sitter and I only take one client's pet(s) at a time.* Dogs who stay here get plenty of love, lots of attention, and on-demand potty and play breaks in my secure fenced-in yard. Dogs are family here and I’ll treat yours like they’re my own. My goal is to make sure you never have to worry about your pets while you are away. *Double bookings or overlapping nights only available with pups of regular repeat clients and only when carefully matched by size and temperament!
Reviews

Gienna was amazing with our dog, Harley! She was incredibly thoughtful, caring, and attentive in her drop-in visits. Throughout the entire process-from booking and communication through her last visit of the day-she was prompt and made sure to provide very detailed updates. Our dog loved Gienna and we knew he was in very capable and caring hands! I could not recommend Gienna more!

She took such great care of Remi and we felt so at ease, even though it was the first time we’ve had our pup stay with someone else. We loved the updates and photos and will definitely be using Gienna again!

I don’t know who loves Gienna more - my husband and I or Mina!! She is an absolute dog whisperer and the best “Grandma” Mina could have. We always hire Gienna whenever we can and will always continue to do so. Thank you, Gienna!
Gienna was great. Took very good care of our doggie and kept in touch every day! Lots of pictures and updates. Would definitely recommend 😊
