Pet care experience
I love animals and have always had dogs and cats throughout my life until I started doing a lot of traveling and living overseas a few years ago. Now that I’m back, I get to love on your little friends in your home while you are away! No need to board them - I come to you! I can also take care of chickens and other critters. I’ve even taken care of a pig and a goat! I’ve house sat for friends and have done some long stay house sits (on trusted Housesitters.) I’ve had repeat clients on Rover. Your animals will be very well taken care of while you’re gone. I’ll walk them, feed them, and love on them. I’ll even take care of your plants and garden, if you like....and I will leave your house as clean as it was when you left.

Gianine is a treasure! We were gone for two weeks and felt so comfortable having her watch our home and pets. We were worried they’d want to live with her once we got back! She was very respectful of our home and we came back to a clean space. We enjoyed the daily pictures of our pets and updates. Highly recommend!

I only wish that everyone could have as good an experience with their dog sitter as I had with Gianine! She genuinely cared about my dogs - getting them fed, walked, loved - and cared about me in that she regularly checked in with me to tell me how they were doing or asked questions if she needed anything. I felt that she was trustworthy, responsive, knowledgeable about dogs, respectful. I was so thankful that I felt so comfortable leaving my dogs and home in her care. Also, she's a very interesting person to talk to!
Gianine came to our rescue in a last minute pinch (over a holiday) and I cannot be more grateful. She took care of our fur babies and our home. Highly recommended!

Walks around the neighborhood, dog park if you have one near by. Maybe swim if your fur baby is a swimmer. Or we can just veg if that’s what your pet desires. If your cat is playful, cat toys are always welcome!

I’m retired from nursing and have plenty of extra time for your critters. I’ve recently moved to Raleigh and am staying with family so staying away is no problem.
