I kindly ask that you please read my working hours below 😊 Hi, im Gemma. Im 40 years old and a massive animal lover. I have grown up with animals all my life. From cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, lizards, chickens, ducks and more. I currently have one cat (mia) who is 16. I very sadly had to say goodbye to my gorgeous dog Frankie a few weeks back. So I have lots of spare time to take care of your babies for you. And very much enjoy doing so. I am that person that will smile at your dog on the street 😊 I am confident with animals of all ages and have a lot of experience with senior dogs and cats and understand their need to feel safe. I know your beloved animals can feel uneasy when you are away and will always take on any specific needs they have to make sure they are are happy and feel loved whilst in my care. I do work full time Monday to Friday and most Saturdays 5:30am - 13:00. So please take this into account for booking me to stay at your home as I would have to be out of the house during this time. If your dog, cat etc is used to being left for that time then I am happy to do stay overs. Please feel free to check with me though, as if I am on leave or not working a Saturday. Then I would be happy to accommodate the time you needed from me. During the times I am working, I would be able to be at your home from the Saturday afternoon, over night to Sunday.

I cannot offer boarding at my home for cats and dogs. However I am happy to consider other animals. I can do various timed visits to your home and this can be discussed. I can also stay over in your home if preferred.

Gemma accommodated a walk last minute for us, and judging by the photos thoroughly enjoyed her walk. Great communication and professional, will definitely use Gemma again.

Gemma has such a gentle way with Tara. She doesn’t just look after her, she really cares—always patient, always kind. Tara absolutely loves her. The moment Gemma walks in, her tail goes wild and she can’t stop smiling, if dogs could smile. Gemma always goes the extra mile, whether it’s staying a bit longer, brushing Tara’s coat just right, or giving her that extra cuddle she knows Tara needs. It’s clear they share something special. We will only trust Gemma with Tara xx
As always Gemma is so good with Tara and she was well looked after.
Gemma looked after Tara for four days, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. She was always punctual and kept me in the loop with regular updates, which was really reassuring. She took the time to play with Tara and made sure every instruction was followed to the letter. Tara was so happy and clearly found a lively, caring friend while we were away. I’m so grateful for Gemma’s thoughtful and attentive approach—we’ll definitely be using her again in the future!

Schedule
Please take into account for stay overs that I work full time Monday to Friday and some Saturdays, 5:30am to 13:00 so I will be out of the house during that time unless I am on leave. Morning drop in visits would be very early but can be discussed. I am very flexible so please just ask ☺️
