Pet care experience
I have experience looking after both cats and dogs for family and friends. I have had an older adopted cat myself for the past 5 years who has a lot of trauma prior to adoption. I have a lot of experience caring for senior cats and dogs in particular and have cared for several dogs and cats in their twilight years. I have also recently caring for younger cats keeping them company and entertained while their owners are away regularly.

Gary is a true animal lover—super intuitive, incredibly patient, and just wonderful with my very anxious cat. It’s not easy for my fur baby to trust new people, but Gary took the time to bond slowly and gently, and it really shows. I feel completely at ease knowing he’s looking after her whenever I go out of town. He’s reliable, always turns up when he says he will, and goes the extra mile to send me little pictures and videos while I’m away. It makes such a difference and really eases my own anxiety too. I can't recommend him enough.
My friend recommended Gary for help with walking my dog. So Gary once a week comes during the day to walk my dog whilst I'm in the office so he has company, my dog rexs can be particular about who touches him and can be very anxious. Gary would be a fantastic carer for pets, especially dogs! He has a loving and caring nature and is fun and enthusiastic, so would enjoy exercising and making a fuss of any dog. He is very honest, responsible and sensible, and having had pets himself, appreciates the care they need, both physically and emotionally. He would be a responsible person to make sure they have the right food, any medication and grooming needed I would highly recommend him . Linda M.
I have 2 beautiful labradors who love nothing but their walks, During covid I was able to work from home and be around a lot more but since having to return to the office I've had less opportunity to be able to walk them myself as during the day. And I am very cautious that I don't want them left unattended all day on the days I need to go into the office. So for the last year Gary has been popping around just after lunch to walk the dogs, he has his own key, sends me updates about the dogs and pictures of them enjoying themselves. I totally trust Gary in our home and the dogs are always so excited to see him. I wouldn't use anyone else.

I love playing fetch with dogs and trying to tire them out. Howeber, it will depend on the activities the dogs like to do. With cats I enjoy playing and entertaining them with their own toys. Again, it will depend on the type of cat and their needs. Some will want to play. Some will just want company.
